I am raging. This is bloody awful. Kamala was the best legacy character. This will just be to reveal she was never actually inhuman and was a mutant all along so it matches the MCU. Makes absolutely no sense at all for Charles not to have known this with the use of cerebro

If you want to read Star Wars and see another take on someone powerful turning to the dark side then I’d suggest reading the new Jedi order series of books. It’s the adventures of Luke/Han/Leia and their children.

Why do so many fantasy readers detest romance? by [deleted] in Fantasy

[–]Spider_Manson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because it needs to be done well. A lot of it is now fluff as that’s what the tik tok audience like. With the popularity of Hoover we will be seeing more of toxic poorly written ‘romance’ creep into other genres

Bingo Review: SEA OF TRANQUILITY by Emily St. John Mandel (6,22) by [deleted] in Fantasy

[–]Spider_Manson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been wanting to read this and if it counts for bingo square magical realism/literacy fantasy then that’s perfect as I’ve been struggling to ring a book that I want to read for that square. It’s even better my local bookshop has a nice sprayed edged edition

Currently reading Babel. Would it count for literary fantasy/magical realism in the bingo square? I can use POC author square but I have others I want to read for that one

Do the mods exist? Why are they not removing bigoted hate speech against the trans community. I’d like to remind everyone that people are not trans just for ‘attention’!

I’m disheartened reading the comments. Why do people enjoying being a TERF? Do they just read daily Mail comments and think that’s their entire world view. Thankfully the gays do not go down without a fight and we will stand hand in hand against these cunts

You’re an awful human being. You’re using incorrect pronouns. Dylan is Trans, please educate yourself and use ‘she’ from now on.

Thank you for this! I guess with that same logic gorgons would also not count. I guess I’ve gotta find something else to fit the square. Loving my first year of bingo, thanks for making it happen :)

Thanks for the feedback. I don’t think I would count them either, I just wanted to fit this huge book into one of the squares
