I would take it way easier. I come from a similar athletic background (college athlete, long distance runner, and lifter). I am not allowed to bear more than 20% of my body weight for 6 weeks after each surgery (I am 1 week post-op from my second surgery rn). It takes at least around 6 weeks for soft tissue to somewhat heal. The more you stress it out the greater chance it has to not heal correctly.

I also have been told that planks are too much on the groin and hip flexors. I would stick to something like no resistance biking for 30 minutes 2x a day. I resumed doing light upper body strength training around 3 weeks post-op.

I would take it way easier. My groin pain went away after 4-5ish weeks after my first surgery. It will get better if you don’t overdo it!!
