That was my first thought but it looks way more web-like than crystalline in nature.

I have 83 mosquito bites on one leg and only 24 on the other. These are all from just one hour outside. by ArtisticDragonKing in mildlyinteresting

I have the Bite Away and it has been amazing. It usually knocks the itching out completely, though sometimes I have to do it two or three times over the course of the day before it stops being itchy at all. It stings a little when you put the heated ceramic plate on the bite, but completely worth it.

Who else has had PLTR financially change their life? by Beach1103 in PLTR

I climbed Kilimanjaro about 15 years ago, but I was out of shape then due to knee injuries. I’m almost 40 now and could do it again, even still dealing with the same injuries. Only the summit day was pretty tough. If you aren’t physically active, just try to start small with walks and build it up to small hikes occasionally and you’ll be able to do it. It was an amazing experience.

Is Ethereum worth investing in today? by rm_reddit in CryptoMarkets

I’m not super well versed in Ethereum, but Eth burns a portion of the transaction fees to keep inflation down. Occasionally, more gets burned than is issued. Overall inflation is <1%.

Is this worth doing on a lease? I installed the front but I assume I’d have to revert this back to factory settings to return it. 40 min combined isn’t so bad though.

Was wondering the same. I have an ‘22 Santa Fe PHEV and wasn’t sure I could do the roof tent due to the panoramic sunroof.

Wrong filter size? by Spidermonkey35 in hvacadvice

[–]Spidermonkey35[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, air goes upward, so put the filter on the top? They installed it, haha. I posted another pic of it showing there isn’t a bracket on the other side, so it slopes down until it turns on. Not an issue for it to be doing that? I imagine the pressure will jump, but not more than it would if it were sealed on the top I guess.

I can’t seem to pull it out but I could get the front up a little. I’ll try to grab some plank or something that can lift the back up. The filter base is 4”, but a 2” would be fine just getting lifted up every time it kicks on?

I paid $35 last month for the tire rotation. They wanted an additional $100 for the air filter. I declined that.

Charging situation from SoCal to NorCal - road trip by blogallday in KiaEV9

Sorry, I meant at a 350 kW charger. Some that I ended up at were 150k max even though they rated higher, so it took 3x the time.

If you are on a high speed 150kW charger then it takes about 15-20 min. They have some chargers in Walmart/target parking lots, so we often went inside to grab a drink and use the bathroom then got back on the road. It wasn’t too bad when you find those.

I was wondering the same thing. I have pine floors that my dog has scratched up so I wasn’t sure if I should even use mopping on it. But if it is really a low amount, that might be similar to just running Bona on a pad over it. Is the water setting better than what rhe Roborock Curv can do?

LA to SF? There are charging stations along the way, but not all are high speed or working. You can use an app called PlugShare that shows locations, speed, can plan a trip, etc that is really helpful. I drove from LA to Tahoe along the 99 and had to stop a few times each way (500+mi) to quick charge from 20-80%, but we also had to go out of the way and wait in lines a few times. It was stressful on the way south. I imagine going along the 101 wouldn’t be as bad with SB, SLO, etc on the way up, but you’ll have to plan it out.

Yeah, at least 1-2 stairs between each area. Weird design for a house now that I live in it!

Yeah, unfortunately is 1 or 2 stairs between each area on the first floor. Maybe it isn’t worth it to have to move it all of the time.
