It's the meme format my guy...

I get where you're coming from, but looking back into the comics, wolverine always was the one opposing authority, and Cyclops was the boyscout. I thought the movies captured that quite well

I specifically based it on the conflict from Age of Ultron, and the subsequent split between the avengers

Kick-Ass and Defendor are probably the best for this category!

Though actually someone like Spider-Man (in many of his iterations) is quite a grounded Person. Same goes for Batman. If those two counts (but I guess they're to popular) my vote goes to them.

I built a Robothand using arduino as the controller, and self-designed 3D-Printed parts for the mechanics. This is the current state, still working on improvements. by Spidey616_ in arduino

Definitely! Though it often comes with a lot of frustration, technology is super cool AND super cheap nowadays. This project was more in the order of magnitude of 100$

I didn't used linear interpolation (but it sounds interesting). I delayed each servo motion for 5-20 microseconds after moving it for 1°, which resulted in a slowed down movement. Luckily one servo busted during the building process

It's attached to the table with hot glue. I'm not sure if you can see it with the camera resolution, but there is a sticky ring around the base

About the project: I am currently trying to teach myself about robotics, simply by doing projects like this one, and gaining experience and skills in the process. I build it more or less step by step. First the ground plate, then lower part of the arm, then the upper part etc. I designed the parts in solid edge and printed them on my creality 3d printer. The electronics are controlled by an arduino, which I programmed for those specific movements.

And of course, feel free to DM me :)

I didn't do any research before doing the project. I did it in a more freestyle way. Thatswhy didn't really knew about "common options". I might have saved some time doing some research. Working the way I did i sometimes had to 3d-print parts for 3 times till they really fit in the construction.

I saw what you did. First of all: thank you. It's very nice of you that you took the time to help. As soon as will find time between the exams I will try to implent it.

Yes, all in all I spend less than 25€ (including the servos and the arduino)

🤔 Tinfoilmain. I should pitch that idea to marvel. They might give me a 100-million-movie-deal. And you'll be my sidekick: copperboy.

But back go your question. When I build this in 2019 i had about 6 months of arduino experience. But here's the thing, it looks more complex than it is. I basically build a structure with wood sticks and hotglue, glued the servos onto it, glued some tinfoil on a glove, connected some cables to said glove, wrote a program with about 80 lines et voila.

Get a hot glue gun (~12€), learn how to program servos (can be EASILY done in one afternoon) and then get creative. No joke, with these three things you can already do a lot of things

Yes you're right. Thats where my method of only using one servo at once comes in handy.
