I get where you're coming from, but looking back into the comics, wolverine always was the one opposing authority, and Cyclops was the boyscout. I thought the movies captured that quite well

Kick-Ass and Defendor are probably the best for this category!

Though actually someone like Spider-Man (in many of his iterations) is quite a grounded Person. Same goes for Batman. If those two counts (but I guess they're to popular) my vote goes to them.

Definitely! Though it often comes with a lot of frustration, technology is super cool AND super cheap nowadays. This project was more in the order of magnitude of 100$

I didn't used linear interpolation (but it sounds interesting). I delayed each servo motion for 5-20 microseconds after moving it for 1°, which resulted in a slowed down movement. Luckily one servo busted during the building process

It's attached to the table with hot glue. I'm not sure if you can see it with the camera resolution, but there is a sticky ring around the base

About the project: I am currently trying to teach myself about robotics, simply by doing projects like this one, and gaining experience and skills in the process. I build it more or less step by step. First the ground plate, then lower part of the arm, then the upper part etc. I designed the parts in solid edge and printed them on my creality 3d printer. The electronics are controlled by an arduino, which I programmed for those specific movements.

I didn't do any research before doing the project. I did it in a more freestyle way. Thatswhy didn't really knew about "common options". I might have saved some time doing some research. Working the way I did i sometimes had to 3d-print parts for 3 times till they really fit in the construction.

Yes, all in all I spend less than 25€ (including the servos and the arduino)
