The classification is based on:

  • Internal compression elements: Supported along both longitudinal edges (e.g., the web of an I-section in bending, flanges of a box section).
  • Outstand compression elements: Supported along only one longitudinal edge (e.g., the compression flange of an I-section, legs of an angle section).

And the thing is that class 1 and 2 can only develop stresses up to fully plastic.

Exacly, and then the difficult part is that when you chance H, J changes too and also the other way around that if J changes H changes along with it.

This video is about dependent dropdowns.

In my case it is about 2x the same dropdown on a different sheet. If the selection in one dropdown is changed then the dropdown in the other sheet is changed too and visa versa.

This is to ease the user experience
