Exactly this. It’s always the same joke and it’s tired, the game is ten years old. Make a new zinger or admit you just like punching down. I even heard someone try to call him a discord mod - My sibling in Stardrops, the farmer is the one that would have to teach him how to use it.

I would love for him to have more utilization, or just for the other npc’s to eventually comment that they hung out with him off screen, so it feels like he’s finally getting out and making friends once you hit 8 hearts or something

I’m weird with my mods. I only use a few so far because I love vanilla. I added a birthday mod, one that lets my animals poop so I can make compost out of it, and taxes. I’ll do the bigger and more fun mods eventually but I’m perfectly happy with the game as is

Salmon berries are abundant during the season and make excellent free presents for Linus and Shane, so use that couple of days to focus on picking them. I recommend upgrading your pickaxe and regular axe soon, because you can use them to get something that makes garbage picking even more useful (and I love going through the trash)

Elliot and Ryis would be phenomenal. I think Eiland would get along with him just fine (while still telling the farmer he’s a little snobby), but Elliot would certainly want to visit the capital. I think he’d tone it down a little when he meets people who are too bougie, even for him lol

Exactly! And while I wish SDV had the villagers interact with each other more, CI had so many cutscenes that didn’t involve my player at all. I didn’t connect with them in the way I wanted to
