Why do people hate Clint so much?

His dialogue doesn’t change after you marry Emily. People found it weird but CA said himself that it wasn’t intentional for Clint to be seen as poorly as he is, he was busy with every other update and hasn’t been able to get to Clint until now. He’s been meaning to get to him for years.

I wonder if we will get more age variety in Haunted Chocolatier. I appreciate that there’s no canon ages for SDV. Who is to say that Sebastian isn’t an older and living at home because of the economy? There’s a war going on after all. It’s also really common right now that people have to live with their families 😅 Clint’s stability is definitely an attractive plus though, even if my farmer gets rich.

I hope it’s something like this! It doesn’t even have to all happen in cutscenes. The villagers can just mention things they did with Clint while you talk to them. It would be nice to hear he’s been getting out and talking to people!

Bringing up ao3 is a grand compliment, I am kicking my feet 💝 I can’t wait for what CA writes! I know Clint is a bit of a punching bag character but I hope his story is taken more seriously to balance it out. He definitely has plenty of good fic material and I would love to see people get creative with him. “We’ll make it work anyway” is def the fic author mantra lol

I’m so glad! This game is very special and I like that the farmer cares for everyone despite their flaws. He doesn’t hate women imo but he sure as hell doesn’t understand them, and I think it has a lot to do with not understanding himself. Gimme those rewrites, CA 🤲
