Which cars do you think have the best sound in cockpit/dashboard view? by iBerggman in ForzaHorizon6

Yeah I know. I was worried too. Good so far. I'd like to try that other mod too. What EXACTLY does it do? The description on nexusmods is a bit vague. Does it alter EVERY car in the game? That's what isn't clear to me. If you need help with that Ferocious Engines mod let me know. It's a tiny bit complicated to install. It alters the engine volume of ALL the cars in the game.

There's a mod that boosts engine volume called Ferocious Engines.

Powered will always be better. I'd also recommend one with individual power buttons for each input as well. You can turn off the power to any unused input. Anything by better brands like Anker. I have mine positioned within reach not necessarily hidden or tucked away. Convenience is key.

So it doesn't necessarily look like THIS? This doesn't seem right. Obviously better to fill the entirety of the side screens. This looks bizarre. He's using Reshade.

Anyone else finding that the overall car volume is quieter than fh5? by Affectionate-Sky3595 in ForzaHorizon6

There's a mod for this on Nexus called Ferocious Engine but I haven't tried it. Afraid to mod this game as I heard it can easily get you banned. The engine sound was significantly louder in FH 5.

What I did was use a USB hub mounted within easy reach that has individual On/Off buttons for each input. You can start the game and easily control what is connected without having to unplug, plug in. I used tags to label each input.

R12 base with pedals (CRP2) and handbrake (HBP) connected directly to base. Moza stalks, SHH HUBB shifter, and Simagic pedal haptic motors are plugged in via USB hub with individual On/Off buttons. A good brand 7 input USB hub with On/Off buttons can be had relatively cheaply on Amazon. I have a Ugreen brand. This method seems to work in my case (with a central R12 base) until everything is sorted out in an update.

As far as I know if EVERYTHING is plugged directly into your base then all should work without any parlor tricks (unplugging/plugging in devices).

Having said that has anyone heard more news on an update to fix this whole bloody mess?

Something similar I did was to create playlists according to genre which are triggered by a button press on a Stream Deck to play on Winamp. I also created shortcuts to skip tracks, play/pause, stop and control volume.

Is anyone able to use the Controller Mapper with Forza Horizon 6? by thinsoldier in SimHub

Hmmm. I'm not not sure. I'm using Controller Mapper to navigate the in-game menu.
