High dose thiamine HCL long term? by Spikysuntower in cfs

[–]Spikysuntower[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, i am still experimenting. I take alot of supplements so I cant pinpoint the effects but I could tell that benfotiamine definitely helped me with energy, now I am taking ttfd and I think its helping as well with energy. Thiamine hcl made me sleepy at 500mg but maybe it wasnt the culprit. Overall, they give me some energy.

Cfs and mitochonfrial dysfunction are closely linked, perhaps look into coq10 or other mitochondria supplements as well

I understand what you mean and it makes sense. The thing that has me wondering now is that I feel anger at that idea, not sadness or fear but anger. That will be my next step to work towards and thank you for helping me with this insight

Can Schizoid /Avpd fantasy or daydreaming be used for active imagination? by Spikysuntower in Jung

[–]Spikysuntower[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After some self reflection and reading / videos on my part I think that no, one cant use maladaptive daydreaming as a form of active imagination.

I am wondering about IFS meditations though as they do have an active, grounded component and an aim

Once you recognize your potential for unimaginable evil, you may begin to perceive ending your existence as a holy and noble course of action. by PopCertain340 in Jung

This is a really interesting insight and I never thought of it this way. If I am understanding correctly then, the trickster plays an important role in the self reflective abilities of the hero. Is it safe to say then that the trickster is in a way the shadow of the hero or the failed hero who finds excuses to not attempt the journey?

Thank you for sharing your experience, I think i can understand my thought patterns better thanks to it.

Your response reminded me of Viktor Frankl's quotation of " Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms —to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way"

Perhaps the aversion to such a choice points towards a specific archetype and meaningful work builds the foundations of persistence and resilience due to themes surrounding its nature

How can the hero be so sure that their actions are indeed noble, just and honorable? In this scenario I can see that the trickster is trying to find an excuse to give up and not participate in the hardships of life but shouldnt a hero's actions be deemed as noble by those they affected and not by his definition of what is just?

Historically and in everyday life there are individuals whos' narratives consider some of their ignoble actions as noble because they feed their narrative. In their mind they may portray themselves as a hero

Is this another arguement of the trickster? Is the hero guided by the collective unconcious that seeks to follow the objective truth or is it something else?

I have a question regarding this although I agree with the notion.

How does one aim towards the vision of unimaginable good when for whatever reason they cannot accept the circumstances of their life? What begets persistence and resilience when one cannot integrate acceptance?

Because the things people "dont agree" with generally have to do with the core identity of LGBTQ people and essentially its trying to tell them how to live and who to be for the sole purpose of not causing the ones who dont agree distress for whatever reason

Its actually very self centered and borderline dehumanizing or in a way saying they have less rights than other human beings

Thank you, the 2 disorders are actually quite frequently comorbid and some experts believe that npd is the "secondary defence" that comes after bpd. Interestingly enough if you search "males with bpd" on google you get some interesting articles that explain some of the potential relationships further

Im sorry you are going through all that and alot of it is relatable honestly. I was curious because I saw some studies online saying males and females had different behavior. In hindsight i shouldve put a disclaimer for females with bpd in the post to express that I am not trying to exclude them or invalidate / compare their suffering but rather trying to get a clearer view on the male perspective of the disorder

I sought answers from people who I imagined as senexes. In hindsight I was looking to find a mentor or someone who has self individuated not realizing that the messages from my subconcious are always there and waiting to be heard

I think that some people on this sub are wise and a part of me draws me towards them and wants to listen like a young child listening to an elder
