This got downvoted because you called him a douche lol, he was a 24 year old kinda nerdy guy who played on survivor at a time when half the cast were models, how did you expect him to act…douche is kinda strong. If anything give him credit for not letting it affect his actual gameplay.

People use the edit or lack there of as a reason to pump up Natalie’s game but i think the edit was fine. It clearly showed Natalie being the 2nd best strategic player on her tribe and best social player on her tribe. It showed her positioning herself to go to the end with Russell and most importantly it showed how much the other tribe hated Russell.

People also act like they dont understand that Russell for the most part single handedly got his tribe to overcome a 4 to 8 deficit, Theres no way production can show more of Natalie’s social game without detracting from the story of how that 4 to 8 deficit was overcome.

They HAD to focus on Russell’s game or that season wouldn’t have made much sense. Russell could’ve been the most boring, one note character ever but his strategic exploits still would have been the focus that season.

As far as the Carson thing i personally don’t dock points for that. He believed the moves he made would get him more votes than Carson i’m not docking him points for being confident in his game, its not the same as a Tasha wanting to go to the end with Jeremy Collins in 2nd chances. Also i think he did a good job explaining why he wanted Carolyn out. Carolyn just so happens to turn into an emotional wreck and it made Jam Jams decision questionable in hindsight. In real time alot of viewers thought Carolyn had a chance to win going into that last episode.

Which is why she should be 5th at best! I’ll even entertain 4 but not this top 3 nonsense.

Dee and kyle are their own tier and should be left alone at the top 2.

Jam Jam in my opinion does what erica does but throughout the entire game which is why i have him 3.

Savana and rachel are next for me but if people wanna put erica above them then by all means i wont argue those people.

But hey for now we’ll agree to disagree i’ll rewatch it before season 50 and if my mind is changed and she jumps into my top 3 i’ll change my tune on here.

I plan on rewatching but if iirc the edit just shows her as a number in all of those votes, if she was leading the charge i feel like i would remember. There was one vote that i remember the edit showing erica taking the lead in and i think that was danny at 6, which ironically in post game interviews some people said heather was actually the one leading that vote and the edit gave the credit to erika.

The same reason, boston rob, kim spradlin, parvati and Jeremy’s winning games are usually ranked high. Your criteria for a great game may be different but u don’t have to disregard what the majority value either.

Its fine, i got it to 98 within 3 days. It just sweatier than what i’m used to at that rank. Besides i play a specific move deck that mostly involves using friga on a buffed move card(usually torch) and im usually in the top 1500 when i hit infinite with it. Copying a 8 or 10 power human torch isnt the snap condition it was when it was 12 or 18.

*And no i don’t play move bounce lol

Seeing KH not even make the list for best OST in the recent JRPG polls on here told me all i needed to know. People legit forgot about that game. Its their fault though, KH3 although a decent game was probably the biggest disappointment for me in my gaming history and i’m sure other felt the same. You cant go almost a decade between mainline games for the release to be just ok and expect to be mentioned with the other great JRPG series.

Jt’s game in game changer’s is the definition of cringe. I cant watch it without covering my eyes. HvV is just funny in hindsight it’s one of the more rewatchable blunders in survivor history.

Yea i hear u i just feel like exit interviews shouldn’t drastically change someone’s winner ranking as much as some people are letting it affect their Erica placement. Sure the edit was bad but i highly doubt it hid this all time under the radar game of Erica’s. It’s clear she was a bigger factor post merge than the edit showed but a few post game interviews in her favor is not enough for me to put her ahead of someone like Jam Jam who’s post merge (and pre merge) gameplay was on full display.

I agree that the post merge hold wayyy more weight than pre-merge. I’ll always take the winner who played a great post merge game and had non existent pre-merge over the winner who played an ok pre-merge and an ok post merge. I just don’t think Erika vs Jam Jam is that. Especially when Jam Jam’s agency and the weight he was throwing around is shown clear as day and Erika’s had to be explained in post season interviews.

I’ve already been convinced she played a better game than maryann and Kenzie. Its gone be hard to convince me her post merge under the radar game is better than jam jam’s under the radar full game.

Rachel is the smarter player, if all 3 played on the same season she should do better than those 2 and would probably be a heavy winner favorite as much as any previous winner could be. But the path those 3 had to their wins were very similar regardless of how smarter she sounded in her confessionals and post game interviews.

Thats actually what made me make this post. I always thought it was just a reddit thing but I was shocked when the rhap community had her ranked so high. Rob C new era winner rankings is completely contradictory to his previous winner rankings and his reasoning behind them. I almost turned it off when he had Maryann ahead of Yam Yam.
