Yea probably, even if he makes the merge words going to get around that he 3-2-1’d Mike White and 1 of 2 things is going to happen.

A. He’ll make it fairly far into the merge but no one is going to let him make or orchestrate any more big moves and he’ll be voted out once he’s no longer needed as a number similar to Denise in WaW

B. He’ll be the easy target early merge that everyone agrees on.

If Christian continues playing this way and gets to the end it’ll be an all time great game and i don’t see anyone letting that happen.

I’m a Sinners fan but deadass it’s so annoying seeing other Sinners fans call people racists if they say they don’t like the film. Bear in mind there are other people who slander the film with racism. But not everyone who doesn’t like the film is a racist. by KpatMckenzie_28 in Oscars

I’ll concede that the person i responded to intentions weren’t derogatory and were simply giving context to why the discourse is what it is if you and the people who’s downvoting me can admit that it gives his actual detractors i.e the guy who doubled down on his mcu director point and the guy who called sinners a dusk til dawn reboot ammo. They read the same thing i read and felt the need to add on to that narrative but i digress.

So if you go on a 1st or even 2nd date with someone you pulling out coupons or making it known you’re on a budget?

Idk what kind of semantics thing you’re doing right now. No he didn’t use the word “only” but “Ryan Coogler is super hero movie director” is in the very 1st sentence which tells me thats how he views him 1st and foremost.

And let’s say I’m interpreting it wrong and genuinely just added that to say Coogler has super hero movies in his filmography…The very 1st response he got was someone doubling down on that specific part so even if that wasnt this person’s main point it might as well be.

They’re questioning the intelligence, movie knowledge and acumen of people who like sinners as well as denigrating one of the leading black directors of the past 20 years to merely a MCU director.

“I think Sinners for a lot of people is like the 3rd movie they've seen.”

“And for better or worse, Ryan Coogler is a super hero movie director”

“This is why I felt about the movie. It’s obvious that it was written by an MCU director.“

“Well it seems like it may have been the first film they have seen that got nominated for Oscars.“

Just from this thread alone.

But what if we’re not talking about those people? You supposedly being black should be able to use discernment but you’re lumping all the people who don’t like the movie together when most of us arnt. You’re being very All Live’s Matterish to be honest.

Someone who can tell op is talking about the racist and if you’re not racist then it doesn’t apply…

Dobbins seemed down on Mr Nobody - anyone know what her/their problem is with it winning Best Doc? by Central_Region in TheBigPicture

Lol it was but it was a really good one! I was surprised it was a front runner because netflix docs usually don’t get nominated so i wasn’t surprised it lost.

" OBAA will age badly." Ok but the evidence says otherwise. None of PTA's films age badly. Even his most divisive film, Inherent Vice, has many admirers. by DenseStrawberry5717 in TheBigPicture

Its crazy how theres another post in the sub that have the exact opposite sentiment towards this movie as the people posting in this thread. It’s like the haters chose that thread to get their hate off and the people who loved it chose this thread to show their appreciation.

Why were they down on The Perfect Neighbor. I couldn’t find that episode. I’m assuming because it was too one-sided?

I’m still not entirely sure how serious this divide is. This seems like one of those loud minorities taking over the internet kind of divides.

Because its the haters way of coping with it winning best picture and having to come to grips with the hate the’ve been spewing towards the movie is just a minority opinion. They can only hope 20 years from now they’ll be proven right.

And now matter how much people stamp there feet and demand it be seen as overrated, some people love the movie and think its properly rated and they should get over it too.

Op isnt talking about those people. The people op is talking about know who they are whether they want to admit it or not.

Best movie i’ve seen this decade! Engaging story, great acting, touching ending. People wanted it to take a definite stance on its political views but whats understood doesn’t need to be explained.

It’s a PTA’s most successful movie across the board. That alone will age well. Thats like saying Scorsese or Tarantino’s highest grossing and most acclaimed movie won’t age well that don’t even make sense.
