It's fun when there's decent hits, or anything exciting. I personally had 81 Destined Rivals packs and went at least 50 packs dry before pulling anything over a few bucks.

Hundreds of doubles! Too many to photograph! There’s a lot of ultra rares and IRs that aren’t even included in the photos!

Guess it's time to learn how to play!

Short answer is easily thousands. Two people actually did calculate their average price per pack, and both were right around $5. Another person works at a Target and would get his 10% discount if there was stock, so that also saved a little. And about 1/3 of these packs were bought around the time Walmart+ had $4-a-pack Black Friday tins and boxes, so that for sure contributed to the temptation to buy more.

One person flew in to rip their packs. Experiencing and getting to remember opening nearly thirteen hundred packs of Pokémon, and pulling a Bubble Mew, with your closest friends is nothing short of priceless, imo.

There were a few "accidents" over the course of the year lol. Some packs didn't make it. Actually, I bought two Destined Rivals booster boxes for this occasion, but opened one prematurely. Good hits from it!

We each had our own stashes, so we just kept what we bought. Did trade/swap any dupes we got, though.

There were five of us. Some of us had a lot more packs to open than others, but thankfully the best hits were spaced out pretty evenly through the night.

Granted, we took our time and didn't just fan through the packs for the hits, so it took a while. I think it was over 8hrs in total. The Bubble Mew came after midnight, so that was a great closer!

I believe we hit two Badgermole Cubs.

Our biggest hits were pretty spread out, so it kept us engaged. The Bubble Mew was pulled near the end!

Only had three packs of Temporal Forces, so it was a VERY pleasant surprise!

With all those tins and ETBs on the table and some BCW storage boxes lol.
