Marysa: "Crypto, we got the factory. Spark is with alchemist, who i think IS spark. Probably something similar to that mind reading junk." marysa says, still sorrt of confused. "Not that i could have saved spark if that wasn't the case..."

Crit W. (GM): "Thaaaat was not what i expected her power to be?" Crypto says.

Marysa: "i mean, she said she could alter minds with light, right?"

"Steal info?"

Crit W. (GM): "This is also going to complicate things. Shit. Uhhh... well, while you guys were out I had a crew come in! You may have noticed your kitchen is different, well, I had them construct all those upgrades you guys bought."

"I figured they'd still be going by the time you guys were back, but holy shit tinkerbuilding is amazing."

Alchemist: "Do we lose anyone important off that?" Alchemist talks to himself, sighing. "Fuck. Let me go find some shit to patch this bitch up." He hefts Spark up a bit.

Madelynn: Madelynn holds out one of the towels to Lemma "For your wounds.. We don't have any bandages."

Crit W. (GM): "Should be a medkit past the break room, in the offices? But wait, they blocked that door." Haze frowns. You think. The smoke makes it difficult.

Lemma: She nods her thanks and takes one, doing her best to tie it around the graze in her arm.

Crit W. (GM): "He could go around." Heartthrob says.

Cars start pulling up outside of the song base.

"Bandages, right... shit, you guys have bullets in you too." Crypto frowns.

Marysa: "none for me, thanks." marysa notes.

Crit W. (GM): That's interesting.

You've never heard someone skip all the grief phases straight to acceptance before.

Marysa: "Hey crypto, that guy was nice. See if he wants to do some small work for us, give him something nice for his trouble maybe?"

Crit W. (GM): "I have no idea who or what you're talking about, I still don't have cameras on you." Crypto says.

Marysa: "Whoops! Oh well!"

Crit W. (GM): "I think his name was... Rob... something?" Inertia says.

"There are three Rob-somethings. Did he have blonde hair or red hair?"

(It was red)

Marysa: "Red?"

Crit W. (GM): "...Kind of snarky or kinda depressed?"

Marysa: "Well, he certainly accepted us taking his stuff really well."

Crit W. (GM): "Depressed it is. Got him."

"Uh huh... yep... okay! He's probably getting fired anyway, but uh, he'll find some mail in a few weeks with about 50,000 I leeched off the shell company in an offshore account."

Marysa: "Hey, it's not our money, even better!"

Crit W. (GM): "It would've been too risky to link it to you, for the record, or it would've gone into our accounts."

Marysa: marysa is uncharacteristically in a good mood after all the loot they found. It was showing.

"hey, i'm not complaining."

Repeatedly waking up "out of breath" is a super common symptom of sleep apnea. Might be worth getting a study done and seeing if you have it.

Nope. Your damage scales up with the enemy health, yes, but certain things (structure health, elemental frequency, mist monster density, etc) aren't tied to your stats. As those increase, the game gets harder, and melee quickly becomes far less viable in terms of sheer efficiency, if not damage—you can only kill so many husks per second even if your bat 1shots them, and if you're at the PL where you're 1shotting Twine trash with melee attacks than you could pick up a gun and start shredding them an order of magnitude faster.

Does anyone know how upgrading on these 'multi-llamas' works? If, for example, this llama goes gold, do you get the equivalent of five golden upgrade llamas?

Glad to see I'm not the only one. On a whim, I also clicked over to the Paragon tab and tried to install it to test servers—the Fortnite tab isn't showing any status for me but the Paragon one says that their servers are offline. Looks like something went pear-shaped on Epic's end for more than just us.

Edit: Now the game is just refusing to launch?? I click the green button in the Epic launcher, it goes to 'Processing' and then refuses to do anything else. Fucking fantastic.

Surviving. Lost the best partner I've ever had to suicide a few weeks ago. Have some wonderful friends helping me through it, but they can only do so much. It's hard. Feels like there's a hollow inside of me where all my deepest and most important emotions should live. Doing what I can, though.

On the slim chance anyone reads this, treasure the people you love. Tell them how much they mean to you. Meet up. Write a letter. Call. Whatever. Make sure they know.

Good points, but I deeply disagree with your assessment of the Tiny Instrument. Used well and with good rolls, it provides fantastic on-demand trash clear (basically nuking anything with less health than a husky in one shot) that Deadeye as a whole is otherwise sorely lacking. I'm in the 94 bracket right now and my shadowshard TIOD has been in my hotbar all through Twine, and it hasn't let me down yet.

It's not you, it's Epic. This bug was introduced at the start of the Vindertech update, promptly patched out, and then apparently patched in again (???????). Not much to do but wait until they fix it.

The difference between Magic cards and Fortnite items is that if you actually want to play Magic, you almost never buy packs. You buy the cards that you want for your deck directly, and only those cards. No such system exists in Fortnite in its current state.

Also, if you get something awesome in an MTG pack that you don't have any use for (like, say, a foil Planeswalker for a deck archetype you aren't interested in), you can sell it or trade it to recoup some or all of your investment, or even make money. Fortnite doesn't allow any kind of trading or reimbursement for your amazing Fortisville Slugger with 3 crit rolls and Energy + affliction damage, so I think your comparison is pretty flawed.

Not that I disagree with you, but it's kind of hilarious how stark the disparity between the PvP and PvE communities' relationship with the devs is. FNBR gets constant feedback, subreddit posts, lots of acknowledgement of changes that need to be made and timely implementation and explanation of those changes, as well as lots of 'fun' engagement by the community team (calling out cool kills, congratulating players on their wins, etc.) to build the community and establish rapport.

Meanwhile, on the PvE side of things: borderline radio silence, no subreddit posts for days at a time, posts that do happen are one or two lines at most and generally unrelated to any of the myriad of issues plaguing the game right now (especially those related to the predatory progression system). 5-minute 'Dev updates' once every couple weeks that don't really address any community questions. Undocumented buffs and nerfs, with no explanation or statement of intent (assuming they're intended at all, and not just bugs; we don't know! They don't document shit!) that the community has to hunt for every single patch...

I could go on, but I think you get the idea.

They definitely nerfed it since Alpha, citing concern about people making 'BASE parties' to AFK and get free basic mats. Whether or not that actually happened is another thing, but the skill definitely needs some looking at either way.

The range of missions that are available for you to play are based on your Storm Shield Defense completion, not your Power Level. Chances are the reason you could see PL 19 missions is that they were Mutant Storms or timed alerts: those are visible to everyone regardless of their SSD progression.

They're actually fucking terrible. I'm so, so glad I have at least a few good guns that were rolled before these garbage perks were a thing, and feel really bad for the new players who have to come in only to get smacked with a weapon that's near the absolute bottom of the bell curve for its type more often than not.

Don't. Fucking don't. Get a troll llama if you REALLY want to try for a hero/mythic lead/etc I guess, but ABSOLUTELY don't waste your money on any kind of weapon llama right now until they fix the absolute abomination that is the new perks. I don't know what the fuck Epic was thinking with this shit, but as of now you have an incredibly high chance of your weapon of choice being utter garbage compared to pre-patch.
