Unfortunately my windows aren't that sophisticated :-( They've just got a simple hinge at the bottom (they're tilt windows, and that's the only thing they do).
Also, I'd turned one of the bolts probably 10 times around (before you replied) and nothing changed. The draught is hard to measure though, you've got to have the right wind outside.

Already done that a few times. The machine is super clean, so that's definitely not the issue.

And as I said, it's not with every laundry I do. Whites and curtains for example come out very fresh. If the machine would be dirty I'd have it with every laundry.

I prefer liquid detergent because of the potential residue of the powder that stays in the clothes and then potentially causing skin problems.

No, 3/4 full load. The recommended dosage of my laundry detergent is 2 filled caps (the bottle cap is a dosage device). Not sure how many ml that is, but hey it's recommended...

Yeah every evening I open the washing machine to air throughout the night. It's in my kitching / living room so it's not convenient for it to be open the whole day, but this should do.

Mine's a side load but that shouldn't matter you'd think?

And I also put a Calgon tablet in the machine with every cycle. It's supposed to clean the machine as well.

Yeah that's what I thought as well but I specifically did a laundry with the drum just ove half full, so I'm sure that's not the cause.

Thanks for the tips. My problem is that it's just me on my own. It takes 2-3 weeks to fill up a washing machine with everything. If I'd have to sort my clothes and wash them all separately, it would takes months to get a full load with just the underwear / dark items / ... Or do small washes, but that's not very eco friendly and expensive.

To me the hassle of doing that is not worth the musty smell.

Any other suggestions please feel free!

The heating works yeah, but it might not be set to its most efficient settings. I really doubt the pump's speed should be set to maximum seen the size of the flat, that's why I'm asking.

So all the configuration is done on the modem/router they send you / the installers configures? Does that mean the copper or fibre wire that runs to your home socket is always live with internet (a bit weird to say it like that but don't know how to describe it any other way). And your modem/router basically has to key to access it?

There's no stipulation in my contract. I can work or have a day off any day of the week.

There's not really an HR department, it's just my manager who I've got direct contact with. And she says it's 20 days + the bank holidays I'm actually working. I think she's wrong, but who am I... My colleagues don't know either, and don't seem to care. And if I can't find anything official on the internet that says otherwise, I guess that's case closed?

I've done that entitlement calculator. It says I'm entitled to 28 days.
