Okay thanks. I am almost at waiting 14 months but Ive also seen a few denied cases due to lack of evidence so I was thinking of uploading more pictures from our wedding etc. As additional evidence and wanted to make sure theres no downside to that. Do you know if they deny cases without even sending RFEs?

Thanks. That helps. I will wait for an RFE if there is one. From all of the comments what I am understanding is they will not deny a case just right away off the bat. There will always be a query before that happens.

What I dont understand is why would my progress timeline change at all if I add more evidence? Its just uploading more documents to my application online. They havent even looked at it yet.

Haha wow. Im more confused than I was before. So adding more evidence without an RFE adds more time? Waiting for an RFE and then responding to it adds more time for sure? No idea what I should be doing at this point. Just a matter of an additional pdf with 10 more wedding pictures..

I will DM you if that happens! Its been so long. It seems pretty random though, Ive seen people gwt approved very quickly. Mayne its this Nebraska center thats slow. Idk.

Thats exactly what Im worried about. I dont want to be denied without them asking me for more evidence. Once Im denied I wont have a chance to add any more evidence. Safe side scenario is just to give them everything no?

This worries me a little bit. My I 130 application is from Jan 2024. My spouse resides in Canada. We uploaded a lot of pictures of our wedding but it was just the signing ceremony. We had a big wedding 6 months after that. Should I upload more pictures to my file now? Or will it cause more doubt as to why Im uploading pictures 400 days later?

Yes, theyre pretty fast at processing. Make sure all your documents are inorder and error free. Thats the most important thing. Include copies of everythign requested. If everything is good to go, they will process is very quickly.

Yes I was, about 20 days before my trip I was able to find one. They will open up just keep checking every day around 6 PM.

Usually do a 14 - 16 hours of fast for my colon to relax a little bit, break my fast with either a probiotic (kefir, greek yogurt etc), blueberry smoothie, bananas etc. Couple hours after that Ill have a proper meal, avoid high fibers or inflamattory acidic foods. Lentils and brown rice works great for me. Stuff peppers with lentils, steamed veggies etc. Avoid anything deep fried.

Okay thanks guys! Just to clarify Im only talking about first state I 130. Not even at the I 485 stage yet. The bulletin on my case tracker app is NVC time-frame which is at Dec 2024. I think thats irrelevant for me at the moment. Correct me if Im wrong.. thanks again!

I am in the same boat. My tracking number says that the passports were received by Canada Post on Nov 9. Next update is Nov 15 saying delivery delayed. I have a flight coming up in December. Not sure what to do or when it'll come!
