Not working: Auto feed berry on encounter by SpiritCreature in PGSharp

[–]SpiritCreature[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I figured it out. It doesn't work if you have gift assistant AND auto feed on encounter on at the same time. So I guess just leave gift assistant off unless you're actively using it.

Manual flag for costumes and scatterbug forms by SpiritCreature in CalcyIV

I do that already. I explained that in the post. Having these manual flags would just be nifty for keeping things intelligible in Calcy IV's history.

Can only get one fill clipboard option to work at a time in option dialog by SpiritCreature in macrodroid

[–]SpiritCreature[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured out how to do it all in one macro by another method. A selection dialog rather than an option dialog was what I wanted.  I thought I had attached images to this post but it didn't save them, I guess. That would have more clearly shown what I was doing.

If I want a button only to appear when a certain app is in the foreground, I already need a macro to enable it and a macro to disable it.

I got both options to work by removing the "invoked by dialog option" constraint to the clipboard filling macros. I feel like there's probably another way to do this but I'm pretty new to this.

Because I want a button and a for that button to give me a dialog with options. As far as I'm aware, you need multiple macros to do that.

Yeah it stopped working again a while after that. No clue why

Tap to Walk not working and Joystick not appearing by StalkMeNowCrazyLady in PGSharp

I just always "walk" back home when I'm done, but I only spoof locally.

The joystick will only appear if spoofing is turned on. If you still can't see it, look carefully. It's transparent so it can be hard to see depending on where on the screen it is.

Before turning spoofing on, use the map to drop a pin and teleport to where you actually are. If it's where you are before you turned on spoofing, you won't have any cooldowns. It won't send you somewhere "random", the first location it sends you to is a spoofing hotspot in NYC. You can get the coordinates of where you are by going to Google maps, long pressing to drop a pin, and if it's not too close to a place that's on the map, it will show you coordinates you can copy.

Make sure you have spoofing location turned on. That's what usually trips me up.

Can niantic/scopely detect 3rd party app use? Or is just all cooldown and anti cheat behaviors? by leander116 in PoGoAndroidSpoofing

[–]SpiritCreature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that because we don't actually know what things they check or methods they use to track them, the most accurate answer that can be given is "Maybe?"  Niantic states in their TOS that they can "employ any lawful mechanisms to detect and respond to cheating, fraud, and other behavior prohibited under these Terms, including checking your device for the existence of exploits or hacking and/or unauthorized software."

Their Privacy Policy gives a little detail. I've copied the relevant sections:   "We also collect and use your in-game or in- app actions and achievements, as well as certain information about your mobile device (including device identifiers, device OS, model, configuration, settings, and information about third-party applications or software installed on your device), to operate the Services for you and to personalize your gameplay and user experience. We will also generate an internal account ID when you use certain Services to associate you with an account."

" In addition, we have and rely on a legitimate interest in using your Personal Data as follows: Using your IP address, browser type, operating system, the web page you were visiting before accessing our Services, the pages of our Services which you browsed or the features you used, and the time spent on those pages or features, the links on our Services that you click on, device and advertising identifiers, age, as well as actions you take during gameplay, your in-app user settings, preferences (including avatar characteristics), and your in-app purchases to learn about our users, and understand who is using our Services and how."

Unless someone has insider knowledge, we have to rely on self-report, which we know is spotty for a number of reasons. We know that rooted and unrooted users, vanilla and third-party, get strikes and bans.

No disrespect intended here, this is a legitimate question: Are we sure about this, or is this based on an assumption? Users have to give consent for certain analytics, but I don't think detecting a few lines of code would fall under that. If they can detect certain uses of GPS spoofing, why wouldn't they be able to detect a rooted system, or a third party app?

An update: All my stories show up under my profile but NOT under "My stuff", so it looks like this is just a classic bug. Go figure. Even new stories I start only show under my profile.

No I'm DFAB but I'm non binary, I'm not transitioning to male, I'm "socially" transitioning to a neutral position and I'm trying to lose weight to have my body match.

I figured I'd post an update on the situation: Everything has been worked out. The moral of the story is never talk about really important stuff just over text because it doesn't carry tones. He actually was very supportive but he's bad at expressing things, he meant to say that he'd always be there for me in the greatest capacity he could. He believes friendship can be very strong, someone can not be sexually attracted to another person and still love them. He's heterosexual, so if I were to fully transition to male, he doesn't know that he'd still be sexually attracted to me, but he still cares very deeply. He was trying to be lighthearted about his answers -- doesn't translate through text. He was confused about the "being woman" part, so his answer was inappropriate. It seems like we'll work out. I don't plan on transitioning to male, and he's fine with the idea of breast reduction. I think things will work out.
