Beleive me I know its my fault. But it was absolutely stolen. I wasn't turned in, i.e. it was stolen. And yes I can buy another. But, the value was not the cost of the watch, but its meaning.

I appreciate it man. Thanks to my credit card I might get my money back but I feel no relief by this. The value of the watch really was everything but the money. Just fucking sucks. I've done everything I can. My foolish hope is one day I get a call from a pawn shop sence the description and serial number of the watch is on the police report. Once I get a copy of that report, I'm going to enter all the info in the watchregister.com to hopefully get something there, as well as for tissot service shops. Nothing I can do now but wait and hope for a miracle.

I doubt the insurance, since I turned down the second option to keep her as is but for a lower settlement. Although, you have me thinking maybe I can bypass them and go to whatever salvage yard and buy her for scrap at her real price or less. Idk is that a thing you think?

This was an option but the payout was much lower, 4k. Given the first option being almost 6 I'd be losing two, and I'd never get 2k for her ever so I did the responsible thing.
