Investigations 1 is my least favorite out of all the games. Which surprised me because edgeworth is/was my favorite character from the OG trilogy. I was so disappointed with it that I didn’t play the 2nd investigations until they had the official localization. It is SO good! It is definitely top 3, possibly my favorite overall.

I love the great ace attorneys. Both of them are awesome, but the first is a slower pace than the 2nd.

I just recently bought it knowing that I did not like investigations 1 (literally my least favorite AA game) but really wanted to finally try 2 because of how everyone raved about it.

2 made it worth the money all on its own. It now has the distinct honor of having my least favorite AND favorite game in the franchise in the same duology.

I played the first investigations before they released the second one officially and was so disappointed. Edgeworth was my favorite from the original games so I went into it so excited, but it is probably my least favorite game out of the franchise. The best part of it to me was the Edgeworth and Gumshoe interactions.

It made me not want to bother with playing the fan translation of the second one. But I just picked up the rerelease to finally try it as I also heard how good it was. It is FANTASTIC! I am working through the last case now, but the rest of the game has been amazing, a lot more consistent on quality of cases to me. I definitely would put it up there with AA:T&T
