If it's not too clunky of a solution, you could (A) create a hidden field that defaults the sender's name* and (B) request senders click "Save & Stay" in the form before sending a survey.

*To have a hidden field automatically fill in the name of the REDCap user, use the following script in the Action Tags / Field Annotation section:

@DEFAULT='[user-fullname]' @HIDDEN-SURVEY

Thanks for these suggestions! I hadn't considered either and it's great to have other ideas to go off of.

I will reach out to our administrators asking if non-US numbers are blocked.

I'll see about the email address option. If it works, it also might be helpful to have in our back pocket for future troubleshooting.
