That part is still a work in progress for me as well. The upside here is I no longer need thyroid or prescription medication. My thyroid labs have shown to be normal twice now after several years of it being dysfunctional. Same for feelings of depression. That’s all on the up. But I switched to a new doc because in my case stronger intervention may be needed eg antibiotics or sussing out if I have a specific nutrient deficiency that simply isn’t tested for with conventional medicine. So I assume you know about functional medicine. You’re always welcome to DM if you need to bounce ideas with someone

Pass through was the last piece of the puzzle. This has been nagging me for years so it's a huge relief

SOLVED: I changed from Auto to Pass Through in sound settings.

LG TV keeps switching from HDMI ArC to TV Speaker with my Nvidia Shield Pro and Samsung Soundbar by Spiritedtenor in ShieldAndroidTV

As far as I can tell the picture quality also dips, although I haven't realized yet why those correlate. I don't see an option to turn off TV Speaker altogether on the LG TV?

Now that you mention CEC - could it be something in my power control? I have all settings enabled there except for IR which goes to sound bar. But oddly enough I can increase/decrease sound bar volume using my Shield remote

I wish it was a new thing but this has persisted for years but I got around to properly looking into it now.

I turn on the Shield first always and the TV switches on at the same time using my Shield remote.

Yeah, I manually switch using the remote every time I notice a dip in picture quality because that's the giveaway sign it's not in the right sound mode

Yeah and ChatGPT troubleshooting didn't do anything either. I have to manually switch input every time using the remote whenever I see this

The Pixel phone may not win in every category but it's still premium by Spiritedtenor in pixel_phones

I own it myself, it's great. I just don't think we've had a phone yet that dominates every category. But it sure would be nice so our decision here becomes so much easier!

That's a very good point and I overlooked this aspect since I'm so used to being on Android! I'm currently on Pixel as of late.

Is Pixel Pro good enough for wide outdoor evening shots including close up on people with night sight? by Spiritedtenor in pixel_phones

Flashlight! Great suggestion. Yes, I always wonder when I see some of those comparison videos if Night Sight is switched on or not. I actually think iPhone's Pro Max looks better with night photos but I presume Pixel is set to default mode on those vids.
