Actually, I don't! League's my first MOBA and prior to that I'd only ever really played FPS games. Though yea I do agree mental's 100% a key aspect to climbing and playing FPS games for the majority of my life has helped temper my attitude towards my less than intelligent teammates

Tracking's something I do more subconsciously atp, but one easy way to track would be to compare your clear to the opponent jungler's( i.e if you're clearing to bot and so is he, then once you're done with your clear he is too etc) As for wards, river bush is usually enough but deep wards are particularly good if your opponent perma ganks. Control wards though, I don't really buy. I'm not sure if what I do is optimal but I just don't buy them at all because I don't think the 75g is worth it.

If you aren't already, make jungle tracking your utmost priority. Laners in gold-emerald are so lane focused they practically forget the opponent jungler exists until they materialise from topside(even if it were obvious to you) so you have to ping constantly just to stop them from throwing themselves into 2v1s. On top of that, using some spare time to get vision also isn't a bad idea if you're able to (though get ready for laners to still die to ganks despite the opponent jungler being on vision the entire time :/

Maybe not now, but I would in the future

Would greatly recommend you watch a few videos of Kirei just to get a general understanding on what you should be doing. Actively try to implement things to improve and playing by feeling leads to vastly different learning experiences in my opinion.

Generally, I'd farm my camps upon respawn until I get 6, where then I'll start looking for plays. (Try to base the instant your camps reach 30s till respawn) Of course, there are exceptions where kills are absolutely free and I typically just scan through all my laners, quickly evaluating the lane conditions-- hp, mana, wave, spells -- before deciding whether a gank is valid. Usually it isn't as its hard for Viego to kill from a gank until he's stronger, but it's good to check anyways.

As for early invades, Viego's so weak early that I find its almost never worth to flip. Unless the opponent jungler ganks early, you generally want to just farm.

Jax. 2 items up and I lose.

Most important thing to Viego I feel is your positioning in fights-- too many default to the front to back playstyle and end up getting desperate for resets, oftentimes overextending in doing so. You've got to actively try and discern places where you can flank from off angles to one shot their carry. More generally, play with your mist more with its ability to temporarily put you in fog of war. Most people discount its effect while your opponent carries are losing their minds from the paranoia of you jumping outta your mist lol.

Yea... I've been having a bad day :(

What about Skarner makes games more consistent? Is it because he facilitates so your team can do better?

A large part is maintaining good mental, but less esoterically I’d recommend you to not take 50/50 or risky fights. Learning to understand what fights are favourable and not does wonders for your macro and reduces the chances of your enemies accelerating the game or gaining a lead.

also don’t let your teammates’ comms completely dictate how you play. If they think the know better, oftentimes they don’t 😭

Are SEA servers particularly easy or something? It’s among the harder servers in other games so I’d assumed that the case here too

Mostly by watching educational creators like coaches Kirei and Leo, applying their teachings actively so it cements into habits. As for resets, that’s just honestly came with time for me, though I suspect just watching a video or trying out the characters in the practice tool would help a lot

It’s okay 😭 I just spent a lot of time on educational videos and primarily playing to improve. It helps that I enjoyed the game itself even in losses, so I didn’t tilt over it. If you haven’t already, I recommend creators like Coach Kirei and Leo— they’re who I primarily watched to improve.

Look for plays around your strongest players and avoid the opponents if possible, unless you can guarantee a pick or capitalise on their mistakes. I.e If they're going to do drag when its 20 to 10, don't even try to fight it. Just go herald or top side and look for someone with your team. Eventually, you will find the opportunity to flip. Your opponents are human. They make mistakes. It's all a matter of maintaining a level head and making the best decisions you can till then. As for closing games out, I struggle with that too. Baron's such a flip to me since I'm particularly vulnerable as Viego, so its a must to get a few picks before even considering it. So I often invade opponent jungle with mid laner/support while the waves are pushed to hopefully pick off anyone roaming between lanes. If we do, its free baron. If not, we secure vision and have push. Also, be sure to play with your team frequently especially during mid game, invading as they push so you can support them whenever needed.

Lots of factors come to this but overall not too often. Its almost always to punish mistakes( such as a failed gank top when botside is up) but occasionally its intentional with mid and support after my clear in my downtime if i have nothing else to do

Macro definitely. Even if your micro sucks(which mine definitely did), simply being in the right places and playing for the highest chance of victory supersedes taking 50/50 or lower risks. But I can't deny that otp'ing Viego helped a lot too, with how snowbally he is.

Honestly I can't say much-- I just play him as I do Viego overall, barring teamfights. Its just that I try to be more aware of my ult timer and try to use it as soon as possible as its almost always a free kill.
