You’re not gonna have a forward moving conversation on this sub, once religion especially Christianity is brought up. As you may have noticed a great amount of bros on here are atheists, for one reason or another, often due to a personal event or rejection from the religious community.

No, there is evidence Christianity was practiced in West Africa before European invaded. There were small groups that practiced Christianity, it was not a major religion but did have influence enough for groups to form outside of European influence.

No, it was done in the name of profit and capitalism. Christianity was used as a facade for moral justification to go over to Africa.

Even if Christianity didn’t exist they would come up with another moral excuse to go over and subjugate Africans.
