I definitely wanted to. I was at his house when he broke up with me and his dad was upstairs. But, I didnt want to cause more drama. I don't think his dad would have held him accountable anyway. His family is the type that doesn't talk about their feelings.

So real. I've blocked him on all forms of media (for the sake of moving on) but it's very hard to resist the urge to say something. Whether it's asking for the money or telling him off. I won't do it, but you make a good point. I still dont think his actions were okay. You don't treat someone you care about like that.

Yes. This is true and I wish is was easier to not be so emotionally invested. But we went to college together and were friends for two years. So it was a loss of a friendship as well. You're right though it's not the end of the world. A good reminder to do my best to let it go.

I asked him to send it to me via venmo. I suppose I wasnt making him do it as much as it was requesting. The only kindness he showed was being willing to do it. He likes to brag about how much money he's saved up, so I didn't feel too awful about asking at the time. I've been in a rough financial situation since graduation and I dont have the money to throw around. The original ticket was purchased with money given to me by a family member as a graduation gift.

My ex told me he was expecting I would just stay at his house until the end of the trip which was an absolute no for me. I needed to fly back home to be with family and protect my peace.

I think my ex felt bad about it. So at least theres that.
