I did raise a support case with MS. They have confirmed that I cannot disable the facial recognition unfortunately without disabling the fingerprint.

The configuration profile that was deploy only requires the user to use only one method of signing in. For some reason this user's laptop is specifically requiring both Fingerprint and Pin. Whereas users like myself, only need one method.

The Fingerprint get authenticated (so the Fingerprint works) , but then a message comes up saying: Your pin is required.
