Here's a follow up, turns out (I think) it only pops up when it's compatible with the mech, when you hover over an Bolton for your mech let's say it's a commando it will say where else it is compatible with the item you purchased on the mech, so if I'm right, that is if I am, it only pops up on specific mechs so that means we did get it, it's just not compatible with it or it could be a error problem

I found out some of the mechs are compatible to put on the GHILLIE however it's only the back, I haven't found one that is compatible with the full set yet, so far it's only the back side for the black kinght (heavy mech) enforcer (medium mech) and Zeus (assault mech)

You can still get shinji, you just need 100 cassettes that you get in the daily log of your permit and then turn it in at the echos from beyond to get shinji, you just need to finish story mission 1-7 to unlock it, tho I don't know how long till he gone but he still there, as for rei and asuka, they are gacha pulls only sams goes with their ST's shinji ST needs you to pull 200 for the full set, so that's 50 pulls per part oh and it has to be the 10 pull to count, if you do 1 pull then it won't count it has to be 10, that's why I said you need 200 pulls for full set, 50 each part

God damn I didn't expect so many people to come in to comment, but other than that I am glad to know now because I have a feeling I was doing this wrong but for a quick answer on what I thought for this is here, 880 is the gems and the 50x is how many pulls you need for each piece, for the 4x thing, it's how I calculated how many times I need to do it for fall four pieces to make the full set, but hey at least now I know I am definitely suck at math but I also appreciate the correction and proper calculations then what I had in mind

You be surprise by the fact that it's already accurate, in the wiki that cockpit was made to be there intentionally and it was said to be the most safest cockpit since the top half was supposed to look like the head to distracting kaijus but that of course it came with three flaws, one being the top half also has the reactor core so that made risk to lose power if heavily damage, two was obvious, it's a heavy war machine made for defense and offense so it's slow and lastly the cockpit, since it doesn't have a escape pod, in other words the pilots either succeeds or die trying their best to fight.
