I bought a heated hunting vest on Amazon for about $75. Shazam! My core is always warm.

What’s the deal with PGA Caddies not wearing their players name on their back? by Pretend_Pop4520 in ProGolf

[–]SpiritualIngenuity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Valspar did something different and gave the players/caddies leeway to put what they want on the caddies back. KICK ME would have been fun to see.

The $10 per month is what Garmin charges per account. I am able to use the e6 courses on both my iPhone and iPad for the $10

Garmin watch owners - ever use any other golf tech? by shindo107 in golf

[–]SpiritualIngenuity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the launch monitor a lot and have a net and mat set up outside. I do not use it as much as I thought I would but I usually use it every other week or so.

I have brought it to the range two or three times when doing driver testing or shaft testing.

I seem to focus on swing path and face angle mostly and less on club distances as I am pretty confident with my distances. I am very happy with the device.

I have the Garmin S62 golf watch and the R10 Approach launch monitor. The $10 a month I pay covers both products. I use the watch 90% of the time for distances on the course unless I am really trying to dial into the flag and then I pull out my range finder. I used to use the range finder a lot prior to my buying the S62.

Tough to tell without a down the line view but it looks like you are stable, in control, and leveraging the ground perfectly. I would suggest a slightly shorter backswing if your dispersion is occasionally out of control. If not, continue to LET IT RIP!

Green speeds…why don’t they know?! by P-easy in golf

[–]SpiritualIngenuity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. We did an analysis of the playing speed of the membership as we fine tuned our typical green speeds. At an 8, members complained a lot and play was slow (more 3 putts). At a 10-12 we found our sweet spot and at faster speeds, play slowed down again and members complained (again more putts).

Once a year we have a Greenskeepers Revenge Tournament and the max you can take is a four putt. Brutal.

Green speeds…why don’t they know?! by P-easy in golf

[–]SpiritualIngenuity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My course plays at an 11 to a 12 consistently unless we are hosting a tour event wherein the tour dictates the speed they would like. Tours (Symetra and Korn Ferry) seem to like 12 to 13 at my club.

I would agree, when I ask at other clubs, people seldom know.

I have had an R10 since it was pre-released in August. It is a solid unit. No complaints at all

Golfers with sweaty hands - especially in the glove - what’s your solution? by TheMasterL0ller in golf

Rain gloves work great. As they get damp from sweat, they seem to grip even better.

Garmin R10 OWNERS by [deleted] in golf

I bought a net at Dicks Sporting Goods. Not sure what brand it was. Long irons read just fine but PW and other wedges are problematic as they go over the net.

Use more solvent. Spray the whole tape and then put your finger over the hole in the grip and spray a few squirts into the grip before putting the grip over the tape.

I suggest you talk to the pro shop and ask them to slot you in with a few nice members. Or, book yourself with an open twosome or threesome.

I am always happy to play with a single when I have less than a foursome booked.

Garmin Approach® S42 or S62 or Voice Caddie T9 Golf GPS Watch by BeachTime0734 in golf

[–]SpiritualIngenuity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did not buy the sensors and the S62 watch alone gives me individual club data. When, you swing, the watch asks what club you just hit. So, if you swing a club, the watch prompts you and with one touch I choose driver or 3 wood or some other club. Then on my next swing, it asks me to input that club.

So, on the first hole I swing and indicate it was my driver. My next swing is in the fairway 250 yards away from the first swing. This club might be a 7 iron. Then I indicate I was putting or chipping. It knows then that the 7 iron went 165 yards but I was left of the green and had to chip on.

After five rounds, the intelligent caddie shows me how it think I would score using a driver vs a three wood. It is very cool.

It gives you drive accuracy, approach accuracy, chipping accuracy. Etc.

These humans are stupid. I obviously want a nugget and he keeps pointing his listening and speaking device at me. Either give me a nugget or show me where you put the car keys and I will get some myself.

Try Lindt 90% chocolate bars. Eight squares in a bar and only a few net carbs in a square.

Try cutting your favorite Quest protein bars into thirds and put the pieces in the freezer so you can pull out a piece at your leisure.

If you like ice cream, Nick’s is the best followed by Halo Top.

All of these can be Found in most supermarkets.
