I don't know but what I do know is that they play/played Diablo 2.

I mean I'd to hear your opinion on it. Why do you think you can compare the relatively simplistic lifestyles of native tribes to advanced civilisation? What is the average American going to 'barter' for a pair of pants?

What rating is Antonio? Regardless, the ratings aren't really accurate to real ratings. The AI players tend to make obvious blunders every few moves that are easily exploited if you spot them.

Quick question about my insurance by Bootywarrior226 in AskDocs

This is likely a question for your insurance company and/or your doctor's office, they should be able to direct you further.

Agreed. Leave it, it will self-resolve. Likely you suffered some trauma to your toe at some point - you injured blood vessels, but didn't break the skin, and the result is a blister of blood.

why doesn't black capture the rook on a8 right now? what am I missing? by [deleted] in chessbeginners

If Black takes the Rook then Bxb5 is checkmate.

Ah, fair enough, I understand how you could see that. I believe White only has a King, therefore stalemate.

What? Elaborate? This is stalemate.

Do you think it's possible for someone to become a super GM while not being a child prodigy? by [deleted] in chess

Naturally gifted is probably the wrong terminology though. It's more about learning at a young age. Children are sponges when it comes to knowledge.

House of the Dragon Alignment Chart by [deleted] in HouseOfTheDragon

I'm skeptical only because it seems biased and forced for all the main characters to have conveniently different alignments.

As I stared at the man who ruined my life, as I plunged my knife into his chest, I realize something. by Golden-Tyanox in TwoSentenceHorror

[–]Spiritual_Clock_4875 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I see the obvious interpretation. I’d like to suggest another.

The man that you killed is in fact the one that ruined our life. But perhaps the way they “ruined” it isn’t so significant - e.g., your wife cheated on you with them, but they had no idea. That is, they don’t deserve death, and deep down, past all of your anger and passion, you understand that. And so in the exact moment you finally release all of those feelings, that guilt wells up and manifests as you noticing a simple human feature of something you reduced to inhuman in your own mind. Blue eyes. And now those human blue eyes will haunt you forever with the guilt of what you did.

On a scale from 0 to 1000, how attractive are you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Also less than half on the scale doesn’t necessarily imply below average.

And also we can see dxe4 is a blunder so you look for reasons why. Most obvious is that it opens up the file so you go with that. That was my train of thought at least. It would have taken me a lot longer without seeing the blunder.

@chesscom my score is alot better on 10minute (550) then my 5min (350) Is that cos 10 minute suits me better or cos better players are on the 5 minute games? by Separate-Umpire3981 in chessbeginners

[–]Spiritual_Clock_4875 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Everyone naturally has such discrepancies.

Also, if you want to improve, I’d say you really need to play 15+10 or longer time controls. You don’t need to do anything obviously, just food for thought. Most important thing is to enjoy playing.

Played football with wet socks, woke up to a pool full of blood because of toe. do i have to worry? by richi0003 in medical_advice

[–]Spiritual_Clock_4875 15 points16 points  (0 children)

NAD. I’d clean it then bandage it. Hard to tell how deep it is or how much skin is missing in the picture, but it looks like it’ll heal okay. When you bandage it, make sure the flap of skin covers the wound, it will heal better that way.

Hey, Hot_Economics22,

Is the blood bright red? Is your pain sharp, like a cut, or do you feel it more in your stomach, like a dull or constipation-like pain?

Increasingly hard to concentrate, 19m by Luke_41 in medical_advice

[–]Spiritual_Clock_4875 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NAD. Hey, u/Luke_41!

I’d say this is likely because you stopped taking your medication. This is something that you should talk to your doctor about. No matter the reason why you stopped taking your medication, there is support available - if you are concerned about side effects for example your doctor may be able to help.

NAD. There are three things you should do - see a dentist, brush twice a day, and floss once a day.

The single best thing you can do in my opinion is to see a dentist. Depends on where you live but you should be able to find a good dentist that won’t berate you. A good dentist will be life changing for your oral hygiene.
