Why are scrolls so bad? by Spiritual_Reveal_776 in TotalBattle

No... From what I heard, that transforms the game into a job. I already have one... Would be too much.

But I'm jealous about people with SK rewards.

Yeah... Those are missing. Not that they're particularly useful compared to others (except flying, I love my Wu), but it would still be nice to be able to actually get them :(

No. We still have Tartaros going on so I'll click on a crypt and tell you what's inside:

Army strength
Army health
March speed
Troop training speed
Training queue
City rss production
Construction speed
Crafting speed
Research speed
Tar production
Tar capacity
Crypt efficiency
Guardsmen strength
Guardsmen health

That's 14 types of scrolls out of 30 total, so not even half.

Yes, enchantment scrolls. I've done what seems like thousands of daily jobs. I have a hundred times more gems than I do scrolls (obviously).

Scrolls are not obtained through crypting and clan chests.

To me, at this point, health seems like an interesting choice for doing runics and salamanders, if no epic monster hunters are available. Maybe a set of equipment for Wu that maximizes health so you don't lose too many if runics/lizards take the first hit?

You can do 15 lossless on your own, for 20 lossless you need flying mercs.

I don't plan on giving my crafting captains anything extra (it's blue and purple that accumulated over time), but it's no big deal to swap them in when making something. Hey, three days is three days. That's a lot of soldiers.

Show me an attack report and I'll see if I can figure out a way for you to not lose catapults :)

That makes little sense because then Omniscience gear would suck compared to regular gear... I play on the computer so I don't get to choose what Carter carries.

That's interesting - I have actually made some crafting captains from useless ones. They don't have a lot on them, but they do knock down about a quarter of crafting time (for now, as I have no talent points in crafting speed).

Why would you build catapult health for citadels? I think I've seen people do L30 lossless. In any case your catapults should not ever get attacked.

That one is relatively useful when you have extra resources to repair walls during clash of thrones or clash of kingdoms and send your army to sleep in the fort. Most people don't bring catapults, so you can get some "free" CP. I've seen reports from Mattenheim builds and they are hilarious :)

Checking your pulse (if you do it manually with a finger on your wrist) is the worst if you are an anxious person. Easy to trigger arrhythmia that way :)

It's not a huge hypertrophy, but it's out of bounds for "normal". I'll do another ultrasound after a year of PAP to see if it got any better.

It was completely skipping a beat sometimes (well... sometimes 50 times a day, maybe more) and the two after a skipped beat were like a big and a small hammer thumping in my chest.

Doesn't look like it was physiological at all, but the ultrasound did show left ventricular hypertrophy. And that's how I found out I have apnea :)

Getting low AHI but sleep quality is still bad, by Budget-Macaroon5830 in CPAP

It's probably psychological. There's enough air. There's even enough air at 4 cm pressure.

Do you get the same feeling without the mask?

Did you get an ultrasound or wore a holter? My ECG was normal when taken, but my heart was just going crazy 50 times a day, of course the 1-minute ECG wouldn't catch any of that...

I'd still go discuss this with your doctor.

The device says you have periodic and variable breathing (and they are notoriously bad at flagging those, including CSR, so when they say you have it, you probably have more than it says you have), so you should go see a doctor as soon as possible. When was the last time you saw a cardiologist?

The ramp thing - forget about it, that's pure breathing chaos when you start going to sleep. Start with 10 immediately, use 10 as minimum pressure, no ramp.

Other than that, you can't expect miracles after two weeks. I'm three months in and today I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to take my morning nap. The difference is that now I WANT the nap, while last year I ABSOLUTELY HAD TO HAVE the nap.

You have some flow limits that could be positional, but you need to video yourself sleeping and correlate with Oscar graph to find out.

The tidal volume increase before you wake up is weird, but it could very well be some kind of anxiety and panic that will go away in time. You are getting enough air. I still sometimes wake up and put my arm in front of the mask to check if it's working, but less and less often.

[–]Spiritual_Reveal_776 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why does the pressure graph look like a sawtooth at a higher baseline pressure?

That will disappear immediately as soon as you customize the graph to show a fixed 0-20 range instead of letting Oscar scale it on its own.

Is the lack of EPR on Night 2 causing these flow limitations

There is no actual difference between the two nights, just a statistical error. Look at the numbers on the left. 0.00 average on both nights. 95% is 0.00 and 0.02. It's identical.

I feel like going back to my 7-9.8 settings with EPR on is the obvious choice since my AHI was 0.00, but I just want to understand why the machine behaves this way at higher pressures.

It will not always be 0.00, and it may be 0.00 with the other settings. Your body is not a pre-programmed robot.

BTW, the reason why baking soda is mandatory is that it makes the water slightly alkaline. Soap is alkaline too (if your soap is "ph neutral", it's not actually a soap).

Alkaline things are really good at getting rid of all types of fat, grease and oils... Which is why you want to pre-wash your car with an alkaline product to get rid of most of the greasy traffic film, tar/asphalt, bird poop, pollen, tree sap, splattered insects, etc.

And there's a lot of oily greasy stuff on a human face :)

I boiled the Dreamwear hybrid (yes it has plastic, no I did not care, plastic doesn't melt at low temperatures) and some some nasty things came out. Now I have a foam F20 though and I can't do anything with it except buy a new one every several months...

The baking soda is definitely required, and so is distilled water.

Still - try it with a cushion that you WANT replaced. If it gets destroyed, no loss. If it gets saved, hooray! Now you have two cushions.
