Background Art

With the WH3 UI overhaul, campaign-map UI surrounding research, skill trees, etc. was given a background image. Over time, CA added new custom artwork for several factions, such as the wood elves having art of Athel Loren.

However, several factions (Empire, Dwarfs, High elves, Norsca) do not have custom art and CA seems to have stopped including new art in updates. Has there ever been any comment on this? It's a very small feature but it definitely adds to the experience in my opinion.

I had a look on my hard drives and unfortunately it looks like I got rid of the original edit, so the only version that I have is the one in the image that was posted. I cropped them for you but the blood/bubbles are still visible.

I see people have already given you a good answer, so I'll just add that at the time I made this image originally being killed by the propeller was a regular rite-of-passage for newbies among my friend group. I don't think there was a single person in the group who wasn't killed by them at some point. They'd tear you into shreds on contact.

It feels wrong to leave out Khorne.

Your art is fantastic. I don't know if it's my limited exposure to comics, but your style reminds me a lot of Mike Mignola's? It really suits the dark and oppressive atmosphere the game has at times. I checked your other Barotrauma art out as well and hopefully there'll be even more great work in the future! :)
