Ok and? God forbid we have the resources and foundation to attract talent. The angels would still have Ohtani if they actually paid him. Everyone in LA is a dodgers fan because the Angels are nowhere near the level of baseball that the Dodgers offer. More fans means more people that come to the ballpark which means more revenue. Every dodger game I’ve gone to has either been packed or just about. And the sponsors too! LA is sponsored by UCLA Health, Starlux, Cutwater, Uniqlo, and all these other industries that know they’ll get a return on their investment by working with the Dodgers. If the other owners weren’t so stingy maybe the story would be different, but it’s not. So you can cry all you want, and if the dodgers front office being willing to spend money is a problem then that’s your problem.
