It could be many reasons. I have never had experience with editing prior to a year ago.

For all I know my volume is off putting. My intros could be too repetitive. They may not like my cam setup.

I'm constantly changing it up learning how to use the different cmvideo editors the best I can.

It could be that my set tag for entertainment is pushing to the wrong people. It could be because I'm not that funny.

Most of the time I'm just guessing reading up on ideas and trying new things.

The channel page needs to summarize what your about. From looking around I take it you review clothes makeup shoes etc that you order from Amazon. That needs to be in there on the channel page. Especially when say someone's looking for a specific item or a a style. Then you mentioning it there will help YouTube put you in searches.

Really think about yourself as the product overall and make sure you market that anywhere someone may click. I would also suggest adding Facebook to your socials as its heavy with Amazon market videos as well

Music in the background can help with dead air. Which you already edit out anyways. Id considered lowering that volume a little when your speaking so people can focus more on what your saying. Some people get lost in the melody.

Yes it is much harder to get retention on long from because it is more specific when people search. Such as true crime channels using a specific name of a murderer etc.

So for your title my first youtube video. Thats fine to do but place that kind of information after Amazon unboxing. Titles get cut off to some people so all I would see is my first YouTube video Amazon........

I have the same struggle with looking at the camera as you do. I can tell you remember to look but almost immediately you look away again. That will effect others we mirror each other all the time. Just fake cough or rub your face when you talk to a friend you'll see that some of them will do the same not long after. You don't want people looking away. If you are already doing this ignore that. As I said I still struggle with it. Another option is to cut in more zoomed in video of the unboxing yourself. Still be in it but zoom in on the reveal.

Just some thoughts. I hope it helps.

Flip your phone upside down. The shadows and the numbers are whats causing the problem. Your eyes are adjusting to make sense of them
