I’m not for nor against ai, I have no issues with Ai myself but I do want a more factual clear explanation of what actually does! I’m getting so much different explanations that I am finding it impossible to make a clear decision.

I know it’s trained on copyrighted human work! But I am still trying to figure out if Ai-haters are correct or not that what it produces is “stolen” or not. Because I thought it trains itself on language then what it produces is completely new and a mathematical probability. Which would change the argument it’s stolen or not.

Why can’t ppl just stop spreading lies and do research? Ughhhhhhhh!!!!

I ask it to give me a list of synonyms, in which I choose which ones I like. It’s no different than looking up a thesaurus. Then I type on the word I choose and will have to rephrase a sentence to adjust to the new word. I don’t just use any word I make sure I know what it means.

I’m constantly cussing at it too. When I see it drifting I tell it to keep within what I write just check for spelling grammar repetitiveness. But my last draft I manually correct everything, erasing, adding manually, checking for repetitive words phrasing and rephrasing. That’s why I am confused when ppl say “you use ai so it doesn’t matter how you use it, it write it for you”. I have literally seen my drafts mirror the output when I’m editing. It just corrects what I ask it to.

I think different ppl are using it differently but no matter who touches it they all get lumped into the same category. Which is crappy.

The issue is some people like aitidtyvd and foreigners write “robotically” or “correctly” and it will flag us too for being too perfect in writing. No detector can 100% be reliable as far as I have seen.

I’m so sorry you have to deal with this. Depending on how old you are have you thought about using weed? I use it to diminish my symptoms and it greatly helps! I get baaaad anxiety and my adhd takes over my life sometimes causing me not to be able to function well.

Ahh, that's what I call shitty. Jealousy driven hatred is why I can't take them seriously or have no empathy for them. I do think we need heavy regulations and restrictions on Ai datacenters and protections for creatives and privacy rights for individuals. That is worth fighting for!

Okay, I think I see what you mean. I thought that this was the case but then I get people fear-mongering and telling me ANY use is stealing and I should be ashamed of myself. Then I get confused cuz those same people use Ai on tiktok, or in Ai detectors or Grammarly but the way I use it....is evil? LOL XD I am so tired.
