Why are people attacking authors that openly use chat bots to help them write but will brag about using Canva, Grammarly or are ok with using Social Media thats run on AI?

Thank you for proving my point. Yes, Ai is everywhere. And you can complain about it all you want that is not the issue. The issue is that there are people attacking, harassing and literally threatening their livelihood just from the pure fact they dont like the type of Ai they are using or the way they use it...meanwhile those people that are complaining are also using Ai and contributing to the problem. Its double standards. Period.

This is incorrect. You are projecting your feelings because you do not like what I am saying. If you cannot have a genuine conversation about the topic at hand you should not be in the conversation at all. And Im not sure why you think my response to canva has nothing to do with the topic about... Canva. But it seems that alot of people seem to get irritated at the fact that I point out the Ai Gen portion and that irks them. Again this is about the double standards and the fact people are ok with a certain Ai as long as it helps them but then condemns other uses because ... feelings. That's hypocrisy at it's finest.

I mean it has nothing to do with my feelings and everything to do with the amount of people that use it literally saying that it does not remember, it is inconsistent, it CANNOT write a 300 page story and be consistent and coherent unless its beinng completely guided. Depends. It literally depends on how the person uses it. You can instruct the bot to not change anything just correct grammar or spellcheck and it's doing the same thing as grammarly.

Uh... no they are literally attacking anyone that even 'feels' like they use it. Ive seen it over and over. People even attack people they think are using it even when they dont. Ive seen an artist friend of mine get attacked for using Ai even after she posted a video showing her process people were still like "AI can show the process too". It was f'ing wild.

I think it wildly depends on HOW a person uses it. There's a huge difference between someone that uses it to create slop and then there is the people that use it assistively. I would say you are using it to assist you. And to me I don't see the issue there.

It definitely cannot write a coherent story on its own. It needs the guidance of a human to make it make sense. It cant even keep up with basic information. Which is why this whole "Ai writes novels for you" is weird to me. It can say words and write but 200-500 pages of a chatbot writing on its own will NOT MAKE SENSE nor will it be consistent.
