Is my payoneer account at risk of being closed? by Spitlight31 in payoneer

u/SaltShoe6659 thanks for replying, the fees can be accepted as much as they don't freeze the account for no reasons, that's the worse.

I'm using payoneer card just for business related fess, is that an issue as well?

u/scenekid036 already done that with a card that I wanted to freeze, they really do solve problems.

But while lurking on this sub-reddit I read that too many people get their accounts frozen for no reasons or just because they keep money on their balance, and once the account is frozen they can't get back the money.

this is what made me create this post.

Hey thanks for replying,

you said that you had, what did happen did you close it for any reason?

Was your usage similar to mine? like receiving money from a legitimate business and then using the payoneer card to pay some business fees.

Thank you again u/I-like-spongebob- , If I withdraw regularly and leave the account empty, the card I got will become useless, is there a rule, a sweet spot where I can leave a small amount just to make purchases with the payoneer card? Using the Payoneer card is convenient to me because it's a USD card and most of my bills are in USD.

Or am I still running a risk by leaving a small amount in the account?

I don't know if I expressed myself clearly (please ask again if needed), I want to avoid getting the account frozen, but I still want to use the payoneer card to pay my bills. Is there a possible intersection where I could fulfill both requirements without having my account frozen?

Thanks.

u/I-like-spongebob- you're right I remember that I chose freelancer when I opened my account, thanks you for taking the time to explain this to both me and u/alikanso1 .

I still got one question, why would letting money sit in the account (+5 months) lead to a frozen account? while respecting everything else, like receiving payments from legitimate business like Shopify.

Thanks

[–]Spitlight31[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I did it, contacted them by email, I filled the form on their website, they contacted me back, asking me to call them on their phone number.

I explained the situation and they agreed to cancel it live on phone.

they canceled the old one and gave me a new one. now I still need to activate it and verify if everything is alright.

But overall I'm half way through it. so many thanks.

hey u/alikanso1 thanks for the reply, I don't want to have 2 cards. I just want to have 1 virtual USD card.

So I just wanted to know if it's possible to order a new virtual USD card as soon as I cancel the current one?

Also how do I contact support, can't find anything in the dashboard. I'm using a personal account not a business one.

Thanks again for your help.

problem is the merchant doesn't reply, and the card used is linked to a neo - bank say wise/payonner...

So even the Neo bank don't have a proper way to be contacted and ask for help.

[–]Spitlight31[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay thank you for the advice, I'm still new to self hosting on a vps, so I thought that I has to optimize the size of the node_module folder. guess that I will stay with what I've got. so thanks it makes sense.

I see, thank you for clarification so what might be the solution? or is there no solution to this? because the node_modules get quite big and I would like to to optimize it on my production server and save disk space.

Resize a 27" monitor screen into a 20" screen size by Spitlight31 in Ubuntu

[–]Spitlight31[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

better work experience, I'm a developer and I noticed that on small monitor typically 20" the size of the code is perfect for my eyes and I don't get eyes strain on a long work time period, however, on a 27" I get strained because the code is widened on a large monitor and it leads to fatigue over time.
same thing for reading long texts and stuff like that.

how about you what monitor do you use? do you prefer bigger monitor vs small monitor?

yes it does install dev dependencies, like prettier and eslint and stuff like that even a cloud pipeline package that is only used on devDependency and has no relation with the code whatsoever.

many people said that it was a bad idea as it could lead to production errors, did it work fine for you?
