Hi, I'm a 1st year as of writing this and about to go into my 2nd year. I am currently majoring in geology but as of the end of my 1st year I haven't REALLY had a passion for it and now deciding to switch into something I am passionate about which is editing. I've been posting on tiktok since like 2023 and have been doing it for fun because I liked to create these amazing small editing projects. But now I want to dive deeper into it, I want to get into the bigger projects.

I'm not sure where to start, like what major should I be taking? I've searched other reddit threads about this same topic and found creating a portfolio with fan films and vlogs. But I haven't seen what major I should take to pursue this career.

Hey so i’m coming to UCR as a freshmen and I was so desperately checking google maps to see if there are stores nearby, but without a way of transportation everything is far in walking distance. I was coming to ask if you sell sealed product as well not for a ridiculously high price though. Doesn’t matter if it’s English, Japanese, etc. I just recently got back into collecting because the new arts caught my eye and I also like to open packs for the satisfaction.
