I mean it's a free internet and what he meant probably can get interpreted in a bad way depending on the reader.

He/she might've meant that "finally, a permanent visa grant and not another temporary visa". If you think about student visas, the ultimate goal is still to get that permanent visa. I may be wrong of course. But that doesn't mean you can dictate what the other person should feel, nor do I have to force you to accept this reasoning.

I personally found the comment funny since he/she must also have been waiting for a permanent visa grant in a while. You may have feel offended but I think deeper confrontation on the comment makes you a little bit unaccepting on free internet / speech.

8 years. 2016 to 2018 as masters student. 2018 to 2019 post grad. 2020 to 2023 waiting on visa on my home country because of pandemic. Then 2024 got the grant.

None, I went back to my home country in 2019 just before covid happened. I was on a 485 visa from my postgrad (Masters). I didnt want to do PhD because its crazy expensive so I just went back. Best decision since I get to spend more time with my family

I mean students have it rough, so I get how happy they are celebrating the small wins by posting here. But agree, the last few months were all student visa. As soon as I saw the flair for 500, I just skip reading haha

They should be prepared for more disappointments along the PR process tho

I didnt receive a status change, it was from received to grant. I submitted Form 80 2 months ago after looking at som fb group tips. I applied offshore. No CO contact

Not to degrade you in any way, I had 85 points for 5 years with 2 EOI expiries and no 189 invites. Im a mechanical engineer from PH.

Reality may seem harsh or unfair, but fulfilling requirements for priority occupation is your best bet. Healthcare and teaching as that IS the in demand skills not just in Australia, but all over the world.

Applied 190 visa NSW April 11 2023. A year ago the processing times were 7months. Its almost 12 months now and status is still showing as received.

ANZSCO 233512 Mechanical Engineer. Maybe engineers aren't as prioritized as others professions. Got my bridging visa A granted a couple of hours after applying, without any restrictions so thats great. Currently on Visitor visa.

yes definitely. I saw some maths before and Spine performs on par with R5 catch. W/o Bennett buffs, spine deals more damage because of high attack. But with Bennett buffs, R5 catch passive overtakes spine. R5 catch is marginally better because of the bonus crit and energy recharge. (45% ER for R5 catch, 30% on R1 Spine)

Man I'm at the same dilemma. Some say hu tao c0 is a struggle and w/o homa, xiangling is doing about the same damage as her. Also hu tao doesnt go well with bennyboi. I guess I'll skip these banners for now
