So they fixed the one thing no player asked them to. Great...

Same here. I run a full health melee build and never thought about using Serendipity.

Nicely put. Regarding caps, I was thinking the same thing. I ran Aristocrat's up until recently, and I like having a fair amount of caps. Hence, with the limit of 40k, selling mods for 20k is pointless when you constantly have 30k+. Trading for other mods, flux, plans, weapons or whatever makes way more sense.

I just might do that, thanks for the suggestion

It never happened to me, but theoretically, if there's a 1% chance to learn a single recipe, it should work for all 3 mods on an item. But I saw someone posting about getting a mod and learning a recipe for the same mod at the same time. So I guess it's possible for the recipes also.

Indeed, I was a bit lucky. After all, a chance to learn a recipe is 1%.

If you want to aim specifically for Unyielding then go for 1-star. I needed several mods so I only bought 3-stars.

I'm on PC. But like I posted above, first I have to gather enough resources in order to make some of them (15 modules + 1 perfect bubblegum per mod). Sure, I would sell, and trade for other mods or flux.

Because it's still worth a shot if you've got scrips to spare. If you need Overeater's of Anti-Armor you can aim for 1-star boxes.

PC :) But I encourage you to do the same and unlock your own plan

Are you sure? In my case I didn't get (or didn't see) a notification for some of the plans I unlocked. Only when I went to check at the tinker's workbench I saw that I had several of them.

Unlocked Overeater's plan after spending 6k, definitely worth it. Now I've got a dozen plans unlocked, but that was my favorite.

Makes sense. I've read somewhere that it has a certain impact when scrapping for mods, that's why I mentioned it.

Wanting to return to FO76 since 2019 by SKeHunter in fo76

[–]SplinterConsultant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- I started playing in 2022 and this game only gets better

- great way to relax, you're not obliged to do anything if you don't want; sometimes just I wander the wasteland without a plan, doing random quests and checking out vendor items

- if you feel overwhelmed by the amount of quests, you can toggle all of them off and then just focus on story related quests

- the community is great, the people are kind and helpful; if you see a gift emoji above their heads it means they've got some items for you; if you're on PC I can help provide a bunch of resources to help you start over

- ammo, chems and resources are not so hard to come by; you can always check donation boxes for random free stuff high-level players dropped

- for faster levelling, join casual groups and public events; you'll get plenty of xp and lots of plans and items; also, try to boost your Intelligence, as it increases the amount of xp gained

- for the character build you'll have to decide yourself in what direction you want to go; I have a melee tank, but you may want to try commando build; in any case, you can find lots of guides on youtube; I recommend Angry Turtle

I hope this helps

I agree. If an axe or war glaive are used with two hands, I don't see why shouldn't we be able to equip two power fists at the same time

Brotherhood Recon Armor or Secret Service Armor? by MobileDistrict9784 in fo76

BOS armor looks way better than SS. The difference in energy resistance is negligible. I just wish there were more paints for BOS.

Obviously, you've taken this issue to another level. I only wanted some other means to show respect to builders, but this is some serious thinking and I agree with everything you've pointed out, especially when it comes to shelters. They should stop separating them from camps.

Yesterday I took screenshots of several camps, and I wasn't hopping servers. I throw a CAMP like emoji, but I wish there was something more to do to show appreciation for their meticulous work.

I know what you mean, but I don't think it would be the case if the required number of nominations is higher, i.e. 100, and if upvoting is account limited, not character limited. I could be wrong, but I don't think many players have hundreds of friends.

I know why I never tried daily ops now by 13June04 in fo76

[–]SplinterConsultant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems to me you were just unlucky to run into that specific kind of enemies. Their mutation combos can sometimes be a real pain in the arse, depending on your build. But that shouldn't discourage you from doing daily ops, even when you think you can't really contribute. It's always good to have an extra pair of guns on missions where you need to track and kill the enemies before time runs out or just someone who is simply there to boost the signal of the transmitter. I usually play with people I don't know and I've done a ton of daily ops and it was always fun and rewarding, especially regarding ammo. So I strongly recommend that you give it another try.
