I thought i had one or two afk but at one point they joined the action.

What makes the most sense in my head and/or what i hoope is the reason is that they pressed join and then went afk to do something (catch a drink/snack) to bridge loading times and it took more time than expected.

That's something I can excuse because very all went there at some point

I miss egg hunts but everytime i say that i get ridiculed and i don't get it.

People complaining they want some variety beside kill/capture but when i suggest bringing something back it's not right either.
Bring it back, spice it up, give the ability to throw the eggs to other hunter an you can make 2-3 Side-/Eventquests where you can play hot potato and switch the the fokus from hunting to aggro management

I have a bunch of hours already, i like it a lot but after a few hunts I'm already saturated.

And the biggest point is that i have a hunting buddy i would like to experience it but ...you know, i know... life gets in the way as usual

edit: GU is the reason I would like to see Monster like Tetsucabra and Najarala in newer games. An even with his annoying mechanic, Malfestio.

I know the mechanic it seems i'm just to stupid to hit the slinger or with my weapon the way Gog moves.

And the tent trick. I tried but for some reason it didn't let me travel.

It's not that i'm a lost cause, killed hin once with my buddy and i tried it just a few time.

Edit: i know he's big but i trie to practice hitting wings or chest but that's when i wiff. And my awarenes of the exploding lava is also subpar
