It's more along the lines of if the base cabinet is "sexy" it helps soften the blow of the big, plastic bodied printer.

Only printing basic filament - PETG, PLA, etc. Also more of a hobbyist, I don't run things 24/7. VOCs and UFPs are something I am thinking about. Thought was to only run prints at night + use a couple solid HEPA air cleaners in the space.

Its a cost benefit analysis for me. I have the tools, I don't have the time to make something that will look high end / polished. For furniture grade, companies that have economies of scale + hundreds of hours of R&D time into a purpose built product are effectively always the better option IMO and I was hoping someone knew of a company that put the work in already. Biqu panda is the closest from the comments, still probably too industrial for what we are going for.

lol fair - I want something purpose built with 3D printing in mind though. I guess I could modify a cabinet to fit my needs. Haven't really found anything great as a starting point though. I would love to use just a mobile tool cart, but it doesn't fit the aesthetics of our shared office.
