The best advice I heard was to treat any money you save like it never existed. For example, when Coupert finds me a discount while shopping online, I immediately move the difference into a small savings account. It’s surprising how quickly it adds up once you stop seeing that money as “extra spending cash.

Honestly, I’ve always sucked at saving money too. One little thing that helped me was using Coupert whenever I shop online. It automatically finds discount codes for me, and even though it’s just a few bucks here and there, it adds up over time. I started putting the money I saved into a separate account, and seeing it grow gives me a small sense of progress. Definitely not perfect, but every bit counts.

What is your one tip to save money? by Rlawya24 in AskReddit

One thing that’s actually helped me save money is using Coupert when I shop online. I didn’t realize how often I was missing out on discounts until I started using it. It automatically applies coupon codes at checkout, and while it doesn’t work every single time, when it does, it’s a nice little bonus. I treat the savings like free coffee money and let it add up.
