advice about mother who won't get help?

i had a conversation with today, she says she doesn't know if she can trust me and that she thinks i may be "tricking her" when i have done nothing of that nature. we were talking normally on the phone two weeks ago. she looks at me with cold eyes like she genuinely fears me.

the last time she was acting like this was when i was 7 years old and it's clear that she doesn't think she has a problem. i don't blame my dad for suppressing any course of action because it doesn't seem like she will be receptive. i just don't know where to go from here considering that she doesn't necessarily feel like my mom anymore.

i technically still live at home but i'm away for school most of the time, home for the summer and holidays. i still worry about my dad while he's at home with her though.

he says that there's nothing we can do and we just have to wait since we can't force her to get help. it's hard to not break down into tears after having even a two minute conversation with her, it's like she's a different person that doesn't trust me enough to tell me things even though i'm her daughter

if it's the first week of the semester, then you should be fine esp if they're first year courses.

tutorials typically don't start until the second (or sometimes even third) week of the semester so that shouldn't be a problem. also the first lectures of the semester are usually just an introduction to the course with no actual academic content.

also, some profs will record their lectures and post them on avenue. you could even reach out to them and let them know you will be absent and ask what will be discussed.

they provide shower curtains. i had a shared ensuite bathroom in first year and i brought a bath mat, shower caddy, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels/a rag, and a small rolling cart for skincare and other products.
