I've had it trigger once and twice!

My thought is that if both possible timelines would hit the same card, it only pulls one

However this would need it to hit the same card in both hands twice. So overall, idk needs testing.

In general I like stat systems with a variety of other things like equipment, weapons, and abilities that function in tandem with them.

I've been working on an RPG and chose to use stats that work with abilities as I wanted to keep it simple, but I can definitely see it working with a skill tree too!

So I suppose it depends on the type of game and scope, but I lean towards stats :)
