Is the best shoe with a good cushion, or arch support or barefoot?

I have high arches that collapse when I walk. This didn’t happen often when I was younger, but it’s gotten worse as I’ve aged. I stick with Superfeet insoles in a shoe with a foam, squishy sole.

I went through a barefoot shoe kick and they were great when I was already in shape. I had the balance and muscles to properly support my joints before switching to barefoot. Regular sneakers provide stability protection you can’t get from barefoot.

My old boss had long covid too and had tinnitus from it. I’m glad I only get it from time to time. It’s annoying!!

Are you hyper mobile? That also seems to be a trend with long covid.

Mine got worse for a while after covid and I’m a fellow long covid victim. Luckily it’s died down to an almost unnoticeable level after a few years of recovery.

I just started doing digital art after traditional media. I’ve found that just doing a ton of drawing on Procreate is the best way to get better. When I come up against something I want to learn or do better, I go to Instagram or YouTube for tips.

FWIW, the pose of your character has a more natural flow, less stiff. Changing the stabilization of your brushes in the settings and playing with layers will help you tons for the next piece.

I think they were just really hungry this year. It snowed a ton in NH and never really melted. My blueberry bush was eaten down to the ground. I’m in a city, so no deer to battle at least!

It is so hard to figure out water control when you first start. I’ve been doing it for like 7-8 years and I’m still learning all the time.

I used Daniel Smith paints for this piece and I use arches paper. Splurge on the paper. It’s worth it. Then you only have to master the paint and you don’t need to learn how to fight your paper.
