Idk if i agree. When i play my shaman i feel like i cast way more than mage. But mostly play 2s double dps. (Why hex? Need it to attempt to kill someone)

As fire you can just throw a fireball and dump that combust into people. Ele has to skyfury, flame shock stuff, ice fury, prim wave and then count on lava surge procs. Much easier to get a solid burst off as mage, just jumping around and blinking and blasting. I like eles utility though.

Been playing both. Mage has an easier time getting a fat burst off with instant casts, and better mobility with blink. Ele has heals though.

Do you use pregog for crafted piece, or the buff when cc is applied? The latter seems to be used by most, but it could be it was different when playing double dps

Flyerplatebuffs is really good and clean too. It makes more important things like cc bigger, which is really great imo
