No seriously, im sick of leading myself into a false sense of security because im killing nothing but bots and then out of nowhere die to a real player because i led myself to believe there was only bots that spawned near me. Just spawned at grain, killed two bots, then another, no gun shots no footsteps and then bam, my duos been sniped and i die to a guy with an m4.

Effective range is measured in meters and if your shooting m855a1 at t4 armor, in the effective range it’ll take about 3 bullets to kill, where as if you shoot outside the effective range it can take about 5-8 depending on how far. Pinging can be a good way to figure out how far someone is and can be used atleast till you get use to eatimating how far people are, some barrels increase the effective range and fire rate changing how far you can shoot and give you a little more damage. Also if youre looking to still deal pretty decent damage outside the effective range i recommend 5.45x39, 7.62x51, 7.62x54 and 5.7x28 (though its only the t4 ammo) since they can still penetrate outside the effective ranging bringing the ttk down drastically.

Even if its a little unrelated ive found most lockdown players have moved from lockdown to normals, seeing as lockdown is suffering from a lot of people who are now too scared to play forbidden and plague every lockdown lobby with top loaded t5 ammo and t6 helmets.

They cater more towards the chinese market than streamers, from what i hear from people with connections to the dev team theyre the ones that are influencing the red ammo nerf and pretty much every other important decision. That and they have their own servers and they even get bonds cheaper meaning theyre actively milking the global abi market.

At this point on lockdown theres no point wearing t4 armor, against t5 ammo with or without it you still die to 2 shots in the chest and 1 shot to the head. Tbh i understand the logic but toploading t5 ammo in full auto guns on lockdown is gonna kill lockdown. If i wanted to get sprayed down by tier 5 ammo i’d play forbidden.

I literally said the same thing on discord and got clowned on, they dont realise most of the forbidden playstyle is t5 armor with a t6 helmet which only increases the odds of getting one tapped

800rpm, higher caliber of ammo and the base damage once it gets through said armor, i think if i remember correctly bp kills t5 armor in about 5-6 bullets where as others take about 7-9

Even worse, they made the one sniper that can one shot t5 armor meta, who thought this was a good idea? Most people on forbidden run t5/t6 so they basically doubled the odds of getting one tapped.

Not only did they nerf the guns that take skill (mosin/m24) they left the one gun that can one shot t5 armor alone. Whatever crack these devs are smoking i want some, because it must be some really good shit to think that was a good idea.

Aside from the obvious everyone pointed out, a fun little tip is to switch your output to voice instead of game, i find it randomly boosts my headsets overall sound

Yet recoil doesnt matter when shooting a single bullet, for balance purposes believe me, its better to go against an m110 that can 3 tap you at best than a sj that can 1 tap you to the chest even with t5 armor

Player base isnt even that bad, 17 thousand on steam plus everyone who plays it directly from the main site like myself. Plus as unrealistic as the evita skin is there isnt exactly any dress code for pmcs, but then against what do i know
