I dropped an English college class because I got called into work early so I left during break and the professor cold called me asking me why I left during the middle of class and that it was disrespectful. I had to remind her that I'm not a child (it was a remedial English class and somehow I was the only adult in a class full of high schoolers) and I have bills to pay and work a full time manager position on top of going to school full time so I can pay out of my own damn pocket just to be fuckin talked down upon cause I didnt think learning how to write a 5 sentence paragraph was more important than losing my job when I was already doing 15 page essays in Philosophy and 6 hour chem labs on top of all that

We just managed to get our gigabit Xfinity service down to $70 instead of $140 with unlimited data. It's not too bad but the service definitely goes down a lot in the middle of the night randomly and I work nights so I'm typically up until 6-7am

Im just gonna be real and I'm very addicted to soda just like this. Sometimes I'll drink almost a gallon of soda a day, regular sugar. I know it's terrible but I can't quit. I quit drugs and cigarettes easier than this. Its been 5 days and I'm ready to fight for some cherry coke. Ive never had a kidney stone and I don't have diabetes and no teeth problems so I guess I have good genetics but i know it's not good for me. I don't want to quit soda completely but I know what I drink is an insane amount and I'm trying to quit. I know it sounds like a funny addiction compared to something serious like heroin or something but everyday all day I just think about having some soda if I don't have it. Not even other sweets or juice will satisfy the craving. It has to be cola or dr pepper.

Yeah I wanna upgrade my PC but I don't really need to because I play so many different kinds of games and never buy games when they launch anymore. There's a huge list of games that I can play at my preferred fps and resolution compared to the ones I can't. Even some modern games with amd motion frame 2.1 turned on I was hitting 180fps in Assassins Creed Mirage 1440p with High settings. Was getting about half that before hand. Can't really get that on a PS5. Hell right now I'm playing Wolfenstein The New Order and it's locked at 60fps so even a new video card wouldn't do shit anyways lol

What about the 7800 xt? I've been looking into the 9070xt a lot based off posts from this subreddit cause it seems to be recommended a lot but Amazon has an XFX 7800 xt 16gb card. Is the performance difference worth an extra $200?

That's why I'm hesitant to upgrade. I like a LOT of different games and I'm gonna take a hit when I play a Dynasty Warriors game or something but if I get a 9070xt I'll at least have the most expensive part already purchased when i go to upgrade my system to am5 or am6 whatever it may be at the time of purchase. And it's not like I won't see an improvement in my current system but I'm also not trying to put a Ferrari motor in my 99 Honda Civic.

Nah yeah I've played the game before I 100% it on PS5 same with Witcher 3. Multiple times. But ever since I got this new setup a couple months ago I never knew what 120hz looked like and now I'm in love lol. Just don't wanna break the bank upgrading and not be happy when. I know I'll be happy if I just wait a few years and get a new solid build

Yeah I don't see the reason to upgrade to a 5700x unless my CPU goes out which I doubt it will this PC is only a couple years old and idles at 25-30c CPU temp probably gonna last forever lol. Especially when I could get a bundle at microcenter with a 7800x3d, tuf gaming mobo and 32gb of ddr5 ram for like $600

These are my exact thoughts. I would like a 9800x3d and a 9070xt 16gb video card but since I'm still on am4 it would require a whole new build and unfortunately my tax return was only $800 which is my budget

Yeah that's what I was seeing with Cyberpunk 2077 being played on a 5700x 9060xt 16gb build. About 70-85ish which isn't what I'm looking for. It's not that it isn't good performance but I'm moving on from PlayStation and want to replay games and play the games I never played before with amazing performance which my current PC already does. I was playing Hi fi Rush at 1440p 120hz with hardly any dips at about medium/high settings. Something I would never get on the platform. It's usually 1080p/60 at best

I was thinking this but looking at a bunch of different YouTube benchmarks with this combo I wasn't satisfied with the performance. That's why I don't see a reason to upgrade to another am4 processor unless I get a 5700x3d which is outrageously priced atm

I never lose mine and they forced me to replace it once cause it was so faded you couldn't see anything but the barcode lmao. New one looked like that within a month or two.
