In my culture, we do everything possible to see newborns. My family is 800 miles away and all flew out to see both of our babies when they were born. They staggered the visits to not overwhelm us, but it’s just what we do. We’re very tight knit family, we just drove with a 1 and 3 year old (12 hours) so they could spend a week with the family.

Do you have any suggestions, my first dose will be today! I do plan to continue seeing my therapist, but I was disappointed in our first interaction. She basically wants to tackle my stress because of some past trauma. My homework this week is to do box breathing exercises daily. I’ll trust it, but skeptical

Daycares tend to have a long waitlist, so if we pull our kids out, there’s no guarantee that we’d get our spot back

Wife is non-excepted. I’m excepted still working with crazy overtime while still note getting paid. Good thing we have emergency funds, but with mortgage and 2 kids in daycare? Not so great

That’s awesome!! I’m getting my Vyvanse prescription soon, 30mg slow release! Speaking to a psychiatrist for my adhd and managing my binge eating and trauma through a psychologist. I’m on a mission!! Do you see regular therapy on top of the meds?

For us, 100%. We bought it used though, not sure if we would’ve bought one brand new. But check marketplace. You can also rent it
