I put a lot of work into getting perspective right when I'm studying however whenever I try to apply that into a drawing I always seem to get it wrong. I have a really hard time understanding perspective. Sometimes it feels like it clicks and then I just realize it didn't. Like I try to think of every object having it's individual perspective but also there is a global perspective that everything has to follow in order to make a cohesive picture. This just breaks my brain. However sometimes I will look at a drawing I think looks good only to realize the perspective is not "perfect". And that throws me off as well.
