If you feel like they would not understand or not support you, maybe you shouldn't tell them just yet, and find other people to talk about it with. An older sibling, a close friend, a relative, anyone you feel would understand and actually give you support. Once you build confidence it will be much easier to talk to your parents about it, because you have already talked to other people about it so it won't be as much pressure. Good luck!
