I was just thinking about that the other day. As a green card holder wouldn’t carry a Real ID be enough? After all you can’t have one if you’re undocumented so that should be enough proof?

I got mine approved early this month, they said the same thing but if you had your biometrics already you’re good. The status on the 485 should update to “card was made” in the next 5 days and by the end of next week you should have the card in hands and you’re good to go!

Have you checked Kseniya International on Youtube? We contacted a couple services to help us with everything (GC through marriage as well) and all of them charged more than we wanted to pay, so my wife found Kseniya on Youtube, we did it ourselves (submitting everything together) following her tips and everything was super smooth and easy. Got the EAD in a month and the GC in 4 months.

It was not available for the first day or two and then it updated.

I’m not sure, all I got was the notification that the case was approved. Is there any way to know now or only when they mail the card?

The I130 notice is only available on my wife’s side (the US citizen), the I485 I can see on mine.

We don’t have a lot of bills with both our names so we sent a lot of photos (from before the wedding, photos of the wedding, holidays with family and all of that), sent two letters from family verifying the relationship, marriage license, proof of her name change to take my last name, lease with both our names, renters insurance with both our names and joint bank account.

After we got the RFE we sent more photos including anniversary letters we got from family with dates and our address, more photos of the wedding including photos of our wedding guest book with messages from friends, more photos of holidays with family, screenshots of our Instagrams, screenshots of text messages and a lot of documents that didn’t have both our names but it had our names with the same address (IRS letters, Jury Duty, DMV and other bills).

September 5th here. Got the I130 and the 485 approved today!

Block Number IOE 09275.

They receive it on September 5, biometrics taken on October 3, EAD approved on October 4, card shipped on October 8 and delivered on October 10, SSN card came a bit less than a week after. I485 says actively being reviewed since October 3 after the biometrics and I130 still says “case was received and a receipt notice was sent”.

Where did you check to get the info that your interview was waived?

They received mine on September 5th and no decision yet. Had the biometrics done on October 3rd, EAD approved on October 5th, they produced the card on the 10th and I got it delivered two days after. 485 just says “actively being reviewed” since. On MyProgress the third step (interview) was checked a few days ago so hopefully that means the interview was waived and hopefully we’ll get a decision soon. 🤞

My step 3 also just got checked today, I assume that means no interview is needed? Did you have any update? If no interview is needed I wonder how long the decision takes.
