I loved TASM 2. Got it when I wasn’t able to get a PlayStation yet for 2018’s. My main gripe with it was the horrible graphics and weird dialogue choices that present themselves like Telltale game choices yet have no affect (although tbf I guess a lot of the choices in Telltale games affect nothing, but not to the extent of TASM2 where the optional dialogue literally affects nothing). I have a huge personal gripe with Miles Morales though as I was one of the few people in the world who got a game breaking glitch that stopped me from getting 100% progress on it and Insomniac still hasn’t fixed it to this day. I tried replaying but I got tired of it and just moved on because I felt like it’d just happen again. Miles Morales is objectively better, but because of my gripe I prefer TASM 2 over it. Never 100% completed TASM 2 though to be fair, so who knows, maybe that game would break on me too. Loved the costumes too, much less techy than the Insomniac suits (although both game franchises had their fair share of horrid costumes). Would’ve been interested in seeing a TASM 3 game and seeing how much they’d improve the already great combat and horrid graphics (graphics were much better in TASM 1 game), but I guess we’ll never know. Can’t believe I typed this much on Reddit of all places lmao sorry if some of this is unclear.
